Pros (+) The hotel is very conveniently located in the heart of downtown Oslo. It is a "grande dame" hotel and has a mildly faded classical look to many of the public areas. The rooms have been well renovated ...
Cons (-) There are steps to the front door which are a pain as you drag your bag in. Otherwise this hotel suited our purposes perfectly and was great value for monery.

Pros (+) The breakfast buffet was excellent. Room was well-appointed with wood floors and very nice furniture. Everyone we dealt with on staff was thoroughly professional. The lobby was impressive.
Cons (-) There are a lot of rooms and the hallways all look the same, as do the rooms. No big problem, but if you're looking for somewhere with period charm, you'll be let down.
