Loved all the beds for each kid. Staff, Janelle, was lovely and helpful.
Assistance with getting around. Shuttle returned at 7 from parks that stay open till 11. No airport shuttle. No help with any of this.
No fun at all
We didn’t get the room we paid for, people above us stomped around like they were going to come through the ceiling until 4am in the morning. There is no form of sound proofing and you hear everything. The place was at capacity and unable to cope with it. We didn’t even both going to the water park. It was expensive and not worth it at all.
I enjoyed this hotel very much. I appreciated the fact that there was another room for my kids with a bunk bed. Most places has just one large room with two Queen/King size beds. The room was clean, the art was simple but enjoyable, especially the kids. Their was a TV in each room. The staff was friendly. Lastly the pool, 4D movies, and Laser challenge made my kids stay there an awesome experience.
I read some of the bad reviews online, but decided to give it a chance because you can't please everyone. That was where I made a mistake. When we arrived at our room we found it with the door propped open upon entering the room that was a musty odor the room was unclean and there was mold growing in the bathroom. . We called the front desk and ask for a change of room, and while we are waiting for the person who had just checked out of this room came back to look for something they had left behind. They had just checked him and asked to be moved because of the mold as well. They were just recycling rooms and giving that open room to the next person that walked in the door. About three doors down there was another family who I just checked him who is also leaving because of mold in their room. We promptly went through Travelocity and ask for our money back on the reservation, which we were granted even though it was supposedly nonrefundable, and book another room at another hotel. By this time it was 3 o'clock in the morning as we had landed in Orlando at midnight
Great for Children
The hotel rooms were large. It was very close to the Disney parks. I liked the market place. They were very sensitive to my gluten food allergy and went above and beyond for my safety.
Area was loud during the evening over the weekend due to a movie that was shown at the pool. I did not realize it was a family based hotel when I booked it. The sound decreased around 9:30-10 am.
Great for your money but not as clean as I would h
I loved that my children were entertained at the hotel and we did not have to leave to go to another park.
I did not like the smell of my room. It smelled like it needed to be aired out and that it was wet inside. It needed air freshener. The beds smelled stale and not clean. The chairs and couch felt dirty.
I like the fact that it was convenient to Disney and shopping.
The room was musty and carpet was always damp. After showering, we were never able to turnoff the water. The only time it was off was after cleaning crew came in. We had to put a towel underneath the bathroom door to avoid hearing the dripping sound.
Idea of the resort
Rooms are small and old
i love the spacious of the room. a room with a king, the other room with two twins and a sofa bed in the living room. Also three tvs so nobody fight for what to watch.
I didnt like the smell of the room and the carpet it was kind of dirty.
It was close to disney. Easy to get in and out of the hotel. Service was not close to disney standards
The bathroom needed to be remodeled. No ice machine. No signs to direct you to an ice machine. All the activities centered around small children. Nothing for older ones. Beyond the pool, everything cost more money.
My children liked the water park.
As soon as we checked in we started getting the strong arm to upgrade our room. We were lied to and told the rest of our party was staying in another side of the resort so we would pay for the upgrade. When the rest of our group checked in they were on the side of the resort we were originally on. Then we had a few run ins with staff. If you are going to be a family resort 2 miles from Disney property then I am going to compare you to Disney. No where close to Disney. The staff is rude. They are not focused on the customer. I had two employees yell at me and tell me I was wrong. They wanted to argue more than fix the problem. It does not matter if I am wrong (I was not) you should not argue with your customer. This is my first and only stay at the Nickelodeon resort. Orlando has a huge market for family resorts and this resort is not worth the (or any) money. Customer service is not a concern with this hotel so I am no longer concerned with staying there.
The swimming pool
The rooms are over used.
