Hotel Granvia Okayama - Okayama - Bedroom
1
8.5 Excellent (4,583 reviews)
Overview Reviews
A stay at Hotel Granvia Okayama places you in the heart of Okayama, steps from Aeon Mall Okayama and a 3-minute drive from Okayama Castle. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a 24-hour business center, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel was very good. It is located close to the JR train station. We can walk to the AEON shopping mall.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff
Cons: Nil
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location a stones throw from the station. Staff were friendly and helpful. English was pretty good. Little details like taking our luggage up to our rooms as we arrived earlier than our check in time.
Cons: Rooms were quite small though well appointed!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great value for money. The Granvia Okayama is a luxury hotel right next to JR Okayama station, the nice AEON Mall and walking distance from the famous Koraku-en garden and Okayama Castle.
Cons: Swimming pool closes at 9PM.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Clean and spacious room. Hotel located right in the centre of Okayama, close to many shopping malls and restaurants. Although it’s right next to the JR station, we didn’t hear any noise which was a good thing. (We were on the 9th Floor).
9.0 Excellent
Pros: It's a Granvia. You'll be at the station with a room on a high floor that's up far enough that you won't hear the noise. The rooms are large and the general clientele is fancier than I am. I'm usually the only one in the lobby who isn't wearing a suit or a sport coat. It's not very expensive for what it is. If I recall correctly, the tubs are ceramic and not cheap plastic like most places I find.
Cons: The walls in all the Granvia's I've been in seem a little thin. I can hear thumping from other rooms. Just a slight distraction from an otherwise great experience.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The view from the 9th floor room was very nice! It was spotlessly clean with all the facilities you might need. The location directly connected to the station and to aeon mall is also very convenient. There are no elevators to get to the B1 floor which is not so great. The bar in the lobby is also very pleasant.
Cons: The pool needed extra payment. A bit expensive for what you get.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The scene is nice from hotel window.
Cons: Staff are very nice.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Cantonese speaking staff is helpful. Carpark is cheap.
7.9 Good
Pros: Good location. Nice staffs.
Cons: 1) Breakfast. No refill. No bread at most of the time. Quite disappointed. 2) The bath tube. It was broken.
Torii-Kuguru - Okayama - Building
2
8.4 Excellent (584 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Opened in July 2013, Torii-Kuguru offers free Wi-Fi, bicycle rentals and a launderette. This non-smoking property features a garden and a shared kitchen, a 10-minute walk from JR Okayama Station. Guests can relax in a shared lounge with a bar. The hotel has shared dormitory rooms with bunk beds and private rooms with Japanese futon bedding on a wooden floor. All rooms are air-conditioned and have heating facilities, while toilets and bathrooms are shared. Bunk beds come with curtains for privacy. From hotel Torii-Kuguru it’s only a 10-minute drive to Okayama Castle or Korakuen Park. No meals are served.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location and good coffee. I was glad we could do laundry and dry them with a drier.
Cons: I wished there were elevator, but it’s only one level up. So if you don’t have heavy luggage, it should be ok.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The public area was really nice and relaxing! Very cozy ! Water pressure of the shower was quite strong which was really nice! Also, both restrooms and shower rooms were clean Staffs are helpful for any questions!
Cons: A little far from Okayama station, it takes about 10-15 minutes walk and The streets are quite dark in the night
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super nice and super clean hostel. The owners made sure everything was perfect down to the finest detail. I would definitely recommend staying there!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice guesthouse and especially the common room. Fridge and kitchen. Quiet area and local restaurants around.
Cons: Daylight through the door and the window but it's very often in Japan...
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I loved this place. It has a homely and cozy feeling. If you want something very commercialized I guess this is not for you. The house has wooden floors and the open living room was small but nice. The kitchen had necessary tools and accessories. The staffs were very cordial. I stayed in a female dorm and was quite spacious. Would love to come back again.
Cons: No lockers in room. The only thing I felt was missing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: If you have plenty of time and no heavy luggage, then the CP is high here. My trip is v flexible and travel light, also I know the direction, so the location was fine to me with good budget.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hostel is in a nice and quiet neighborhood only about 10-15min walking distance from Okayama Station. Though space is limited, the kitchen and the living area are very comfortable and decorated so nicely. The staff is super-friendly and you are provided with a coupon for their café just a few meters down the street. Or you just can enjoy a free cup of coffee or tea at the hostel itself.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly staff and quiet place. The garden behind is perfect for breakfast.
5.4 Okay
Pros: About a ten minute walk from train station, convenient location, open kitchen, easy laundry, Torii gate entrance
Cons: Bare bones, no rentals for basic towel, toothbrush, soap; room was just a futon and AC unit and low table, nothing else. Other places for same price in smaller towns had small mirror, cushioned seat, hangers, shelve unit, chair even, and decorations. And there were many unfinished areas in the place that could definitely do with a makeover like replacing mirror in front of sinks, plastered over tiles. It has a gritty look but looks in major need of some renovations. Walls really thin and everything squeaks so hair dyers blasting, creaking floor boards. Also could have maps and schedules of surrounding transport, maps of nearby places, just things that a traveler needs. They do have business cards and posters of current events though.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great and friendly service, comfortable living area, kept very clean. Good location near cafes, shops, etc. I loved the natural but modern interior decor and style.

Pros: Very comfortable and good amenities with free drinks and bath salt.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing, huge rooms. Very kind and helpful staff. Big selection of soap, shampoo, conditioner and bath salts. Bathroom was gigantic.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very friendly and helpful. Served us cake and coffee at checkin.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff incredibly friendly Big rooms Clean Free drinks area
Cons: A little out of the centre of the centre (25 minute bus journey)
5.0 Okay
Pros: Dimension of the room. Simpathy of the employees.
Cons: No Wi-Fi. In the middle of nowhere. It's what in Europe we call a motel (love hotel). It's not a proper hotel in the real sense of the word. No transportation appart from taxi to the center of Okayama and for that expect to pay around 2200 Yen
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It was a surprise to note that we arrived to a love hotel but it was clean with a big room and shower
Cons: location is far from the city center which is OK if you drive or you take a taxi
7.5 Good
Cons: If washing machine was available, there will be perfect.
Mitsui Garden Hotel Okayama - Okayama - Building
4
8.2 Excellent (5,586 reviews)
Overview Reviews
A stay at Mitsui Garden Hotel Okayama places you in the heart of Okayama, steps from Aeon Mall Okayama and a 2-minute drive from Okayama Castle. Featured amenities include a business center, express check-out, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Really close to the station.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staffs were so nice and smiling always
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Onsen on 10th floor was lovely and clean. No one else in there when we went in the evening.
Cons: Room was a little small with bed pushed up against one of the walls
6.7 Good
Pros: Good location close to the train station and food/shopping/entertainment. Rooms were clean and neat. Check in staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: Breakfast was too busy on all mornings. There was a sign saying that breakfast would be particularly busy one of the mornings we were staying, so we decided to get up early and have breakfast as the buffet opened at 6.30am. Unfortunately, so did the most of the other guests of the hotel and it was very stressful and many other guests were rude and pushy. Other hotels stagger guests through the breakfast time, which might be an idea for this hotel, or guide guests around a certain route at the buffet. The breakfast staff looked overrun and there was often shortages of particular food items, but the food in general was good. The hair dryer was shockingly slow and weak. There was a constant noise of waste water flowing down through the walls - little to no acoustic insulation between neighbouring rooms/ service ducts. Room service didn’t make the bed, left half the rubbish/recycling and didn’t clean or change our dirty mugs and glasses. There was a card that noted that the hotel is trying to be sustainable (which is great) but surely making up the bed is not unsustainable, and changing over dirty tea cups is not that hard. We even separated the plastic bottles, so unsure why they were not removed. Room service parked outside our room everyday, which was not the nicest experience. Also, the pillows were shamefully thin and the bed was very firm, not comfortable at all.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location. Only minutes walk to JR station. Room is small but provides comfort.
Cons: Wi-Fi connection is slow.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location. Near train station and Aeon Mall
Cons: Nil
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable. Near subway no. 5 exit. Aeon Mall is just beside the hotel, got supermarket and food court
Cons: Can wash clothes in the hotel, but the drier was not functioned well, clothes were still wet when they were dried for twice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was the best! It’s about 5 mins walk to all places: the station and basically the surrounding the malls. The public bath was awesome, great for relaxation after a long day of walking. The room was at a decent size, not too small but just right. Breakfast was very diverse, both Japanese and westernized styles to choose from. On the whole the hotel was great.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good for a budget hotel (under $100/night) Fairly kid-proof Allowed bed-sharing with kids, so we had a twin room for a family of four (kids aged 1.5 and 4) Coin-operated laundry facilities available was a bonus Public bath on floor 10 was nice to have Breakfast buffet was good (cost extra) Great location less than 5 min from train station. Walk 5-10 min to get to loads of shopping, restaurants (giant Aeon mall opening next door in Dec 2014), 20 min stroll down busy/fun street to Okayama Castle and Gardens.
Cons: We travelled in November and it was hot, (22 C, around 70 F) but the A/C didn't work. I think they turn it off at a certain point in the year, so setting it at a low temp only blows air around the room. We had to crack the window but it only opens about 3-4 inches for safety reasons. The staff brought us a fan but then housekeeping took it away the next morning and we had to ask for it again. Minor issue but our Japanese was terrible so communication was slightly difficult.
6.7 Good
Pros: Very conveniently located
Cons: It is very old and a bit run down; for this standing it should be renovated
7.9 Good
Pros: great location 7min by walking to the train station and airport shuttles. walking distance to shopping malls, restos, bars and cafes
Cons: only smoking room available
Hotel Excel Okayama - Okayama - Building
5
8.2 Excellent (1,282 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hotel Excel Okayama in Okayama (Kita Ward), you'll be steps from Orient Museum and 3 minutes by foot from Okayama Prefectural Museum of Art. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is quite convenient as it’s connected to a tram station. However, the trams are quite small and it might be troublesome to others if you try to take your luggage with you on them.
Cons: The rooms could have been a little bit bigger so that it’s easier to manage my belongings. Also, I felt like the amenities and facilities inside the room were somewhat old.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very close to the castle and many rooms will have a view on it and the river. It's also easy to find and get to from the JR station by either tram or on foot. Our room was quite big, much larger than the one in the pictures. The staff are friendly and there's a laundry room.
Cons: The hotel is a bit old and it shows in some places, some furniture is worn out. It was dirty under our bed and dusty in the whole place. The air conditioning was the loudest, most unworkable thing I have seen, at one point it started blowing hot air after cooling the room too much. The breakfast had some variety but it was not great.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very cooperative but language was sometimes a barrier. Very close to castle and garden. Good value for the money
Cons: WiFi/Internet required some fiddling and language difficulties with staff made that more awkward. Staff were not really focused on travelers needs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ideally located near the Okayama castle and Korakuen garden, very comfortable room, lovely staff always willing to help and super nice breakfast buffet (japanese as well as western options available).
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Close to Castle and gardens. Tram to bus station very convenient. Room had a nice view over river and castle. There was even a massage chair in the room which admittedly took up valuable space but worked so well! The bath tub was nice after a big day sightseeing. Good Chinese restaurant in basement. Very good breakfast as well.
Cons: No complaints.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Kindness of the staff, good location between JR Station and the Gardens, perfect breakfast
Cons: The hotel needs a renovation, a bit expensive because of that
9.2 Excellent

8.8 Excellent
Pros: It's very close to the park. You can have a good walk out in the morning.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location,10 minutes from the station [im a fast walker} 5 minutes from the castle and gardens
Cons: Decor was a bit drab, again that could be me
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect. It's only a stone away from the underground crossing.
Cons: The kettle was a bit small to my liking.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The tram just outside.
Cons: The restaurant on the 1st floor did not generate enthusiasm.
Hotel Limani - Okayama - Building
6
8.2 Excellent (569 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hotel Limani in Setouchi, you'll be in the suburbs, just steps from Setonaikai National Park and a 2-minute drive from Ushimado Shrine. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
6.3 Good
Pros: Very friendly international staff; great entrance, restaurant and bar/lobby (completely new and state of the art) The hotel has a high potential for the future if the necessary renovations of the rooms are done.
Cons: Rooms need to be renovated (old carpets); swimming pool needs to be pimped up (flaking paint; deserted bar) I think the hotel can make more use of the proximity of the islands (Naoshima, Teshima,...) and the Setouchi Art festival. We came especially for this festival to this region; but there was only limited information at the reception available. I believe that 'art tourists' could be an important target group for this hotel.
7.5 Good
Pros: See view from the room, nice room, comfortable bed.
Cons: We really suffered from the noisy ventilation system (Not the A/C that was off, but the permanent ventilation system).

Featured amenities include a business center, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The only positive thing I can say about the place is that the staff wear accommodating and its very good location near the station. Other than that, if you are a backpacker, find another place to stay in. The availability of a public bath within the hotel is not bad as well.
Cons: Very outdated capsule hotel. Small lockers, probably meant for small business bags only. Not really designed for long-distance travelers with big luggages and backpacks.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The bath, sauna and jacuzzi are really good. Its next to the main station. You got your own robe all the time, so you don't have to wear your own clothes.
Cons: Its first hard to find, because its above an Pachinko hall. But can't say anything bad at all
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hot spring bath. Capsule was surprisingly roomy.
Cons: Nothing, great place to stay.
7.5 Good
Pros: Fantastic location and very clean. Traditional Japanese breakfast (main being rice with raw egg) was good
Cons: Very traditional Japanese capsule hotel which was confusing for us as westerners. We were told off for being in the capsules during the daytime hours and you had to wear a gown everywhere. Think this hotel is intended for salarymen.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good public bath and perfect location
Cons: 1. Very common breakfast, hope it may improve 2. Noisy machines at capsule room, bothering my sleep.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Can’t beat this place if you are looking for cheap and easy.
Cons: Fairly noisy with people getting in and out of their capsules all night long but just unlucky that I had a lively room of capsules I guess!
5.8 Okay
Pros: The staffs are nice and the breakfast they offered is good! Also the sauna is good.
Cons: Full of uneducated Japanese people who made a lot of noise during the midnight and also endless alarms at 5 in the morning until 7. I couldn’t slept for the whole night! Really unpleasant and annoying experience, the staffs are nice though.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was complimentary and was miso soup, rice, and raw egg! The showers were public showers and had a few different pools to soak in. A robe was also provided for wear within the premises. It was super close to the train station
Cons: nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: 1. Good, central location. 2. No noise from the pachinko parlour downstairs. 3. The sauna / hot tubs were lovely, 4. Free beer and something free for breakfast (I left before breakfast was available [6]) 5. Friendly staff. 6. The capsule was pretty cool too!
Cons: I honestly can’t think of anything. Was a good, albeit brief, stay.
7.5 Good
Pros: Directly at the train station and in the city!
Cons: It's a SaunaClub, not only a capsule hotel! You have to be naked and only with an bathrobe! Shower only in the sauna area, only few and everybody can watch you!

8.8 Excellent
Pros: A welcome drink is provided which is a nice touch. Everything you might need (hairdryers, irons, etc) is available for use from the front desk.
Cons: The breakfast selection was good but a lot of the food was cold. Location wise it is ok but still a good 20 minute walk from the station and 10 minutes to most of the good restaurants/bars
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous value for money. Excellent breakfast included as well as free 2 hour happy hour with beer and liquor and snacks.. Amazing. Comfortable bed. Small but clean room. 15-20 minutes walk from the station.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Easily accessible (15 minutes walk from the station) and varied breakfast.
Cons: Unfortunately, the reception staff ruined our stay. The two ladies at reception refused to speak English, were blatantly rude (from their mannerism) and tried to make us pay again - despite having being charged at the moment of booking. When confronted with the receipt, they retracted but did not apologise in the least.

Pros: The helpfull staff. We could change the 2 rooms with a small semidouble bed for 2 rooms with 2 big single beds. (We paid ¥1000 per night per room more, but it was worth it). The parking next to the hotel could be used for about ¥1200 (4pm-10am). The shopping mall is 3 minutes walk. The Okayama castle is 8 minutes walk. The price was the best: ¥5200(+1000) for a 2 beds bedroom with breakfast on a sunday night in the summer.
Cons: The semi double beds are 130cm wide so to little space for normal sized people. In the booking.com site it says 130-150cm. But it is really 130cm. Breakfast is very simple, but it is free. Do not expect too much. And the walls are very thin, so you hear the noise from the other rooms.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location close to Korakuen and Okayama Castle. 15 minute walk to JR Okayama Station. Free breakfast was fantastic with great selection of food. Will return to this hotel if we travel in the area again.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Tasty breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff. Great location for the castle, city and station.
Cons: The room was a little worn down and the tv wasn't the easiest to watch from the bed (There wasn't anywhere else to watch from).
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel staff was so friendly and helpfull! Location is fabulous, very nearby the Okayama castle. The hotel is reachable by walk in about 15 min or by street car(tram in maybe max 10 min from the station). The breakfast was good. The Okonomiyaki place near the station was amazing. Seriously would go there again if I ever get to visit Okayama.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Poor internet connection

Cons: Poor internet connection
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location: next to the park and not too far from the station (15 minutes walk). Clean room and nice breakfast.
Cons: Room was a bit small
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very close to Okayama castle, bus station and a shopping area. It's about 2 km from the train station but no worries there's a 100 yen tram service. Good breakfast and nice staff. The room has a nice view of the town.
Cons: Compared to other places we'd stayed in Japan, it's a bit old and not as clean. Wi-Fi was slow and at times it just didn't go at all.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was close to everything! The service was great! The owner of the hotel was super nice! She escorted us to a nearby drugstore and helped us find what we needed. This was helpful since we could not read the packaging. She also surprised us with a gift of a matcha tea set! We were so touched by her generosity.
Cons: We would have liked coffee in our room. There was tea but we had to go downstairs for coffee.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Hotel staff was excellent. Gave us a ride to the train because all taxis were busy and it was raining.

7.5 Good
Pros: Highly recommended! The hotel is located 10 minutes walk from Okayama station, the room is quite big for Japanese standards, and clean. The front desk is provided with anything you might need, from make up remover to pain curing herbal patch. The staff is more than kind and the restaurant offers a good variety of delicious Japanese meals.
Cons: Check in time is very late: 4 pm The laundry and drying machines are not very clean, but you may use it for free.
4.2 Okay
Cons: Facilities are old and badly in need of an update. Breakfast was marginal.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a very reasonable business hotel located close to the main station and the Convention Center. Spacious and comfortable room with a large bathroom was enjoyable. The breakfast offered a variety of European and Japanese dishes. The personnel at the reception desk was friendly and helpful despite some language communication problems. There is a small convenience store direct in the hotel offering snacks, refreshments, toiletries etc., which is very practical. The hotel is surrounded by plenty of restaurants of different price categories. The hotel was a very good value for money.
Cons: There were no serious reasons to complain.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: One of my favourite stays, very comfortable room and the whole hotel smelled beautiful, they use hinoki wood essential oil diffusers
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location close to station and within reasonable walk to Okayama Castle and Korakuen Garden. Very comfortable and quite large room with a good sized bathroom. Very good value breakfast with wide range of Japanese and European foods.
Cons: We would have used the hotel restaurant for dinner, but this needed to be booked before 5pm and we checked in afterwards. That was disappointing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Actually, at the beginning we were a bit disappointed but later on we liked this hotel very much because: The staff is especially friendly and helpful - even for japanese conditions which are usually already much higher than in Europe and secondly, the room was fantastic and finally, the recommendation for the food - you will get a small map - are unbelievable good, moreover, the lunch at the hotel itself was incredible good and a real bargain. All in all I highly recommend this hotel and Okayama. I was here to attend a conference but it turned out that the town and surroundings are worth a trip - in particular if one compares them with the overcrowded but somehow boring Himeji.
Cons: There is nothing to complain.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Walking distance from Okayama station and from the city main attractions: Okayama Castle and Korakuen Garden. Very friendly staff, the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast with both Japanese and western options: yogurt, fresh fruits, eggs, croissant/bread, ham/bacon, honey, butter and jam.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Adequate size room , nice bedding ,clean, no stuffy smell
Cons: pillows could be better quality
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was really comfortable, offering all amenities we needed. The staff was super polite and everything was spotlessly clean. Would advise to book the breakfast buffet since it‘s good value for money, with quite the variety of Japanese and European foods.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: It is located just next to the station, nice view from the upper floors room, the staff, cleanliness
Cons: Rooms (even premium) are small
8.8 Excellent
Pros: bed and pillows were very comfortable and somehow we got the room on the premium floor which was quiet and view was nice.
Cons: shame that there's no coin laundry available in the building.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent localtion next to the Shinkansen train station as well as to the convention center. The personnel was always extremely friendly. Spacious rooms!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Sky city view thru the window in the room
Cons: Nothing special
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is great. Right beside JR station. Several restaurants around.
Cons: The room space is too small.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is at the top of the hotel with a view that overlooks the mountains on one side and city on the other. The view is spectacular. There is a wide range of choices from Japanese to Western and everything was good.
Cons: Bathroom is on the small side so with 2 people we couldn't both keep our toiletry kits in the bathroom.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, friendly staff
Cons: Rooms are a little dated. The hotel bar is very expensive; we didn't appreciated the "assorted snacks" plate which contained stale crisps for 13,000 JPY!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great position tight by the railway station
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel’s location, right by the train station, was perfect for our needs as we were traveling by train throughout Japan. Staff spoke very good English, so it was easy to communicate. Our standard twin room was more spacious than others, where I have stayed in Japan. It even had a real wardrobe closet. We heard no noise in the room from the train station nor from other guests.
Cons: Had trouble finding the lighting controls, which are on the clock
6.5 Good
Pros: I liked that it was attached to the train station.
Cons: The thing I'm actually really upset about is that I booked the hotel because of price and convenience. Then when I was already in my room they said they would charge and extra 2,000 yen for having another person in my room. This is a proper hotel, not some charge by the hour/person. That's why I'm giving it a not so positive review.
7.1 Good
Pros: Location.
Cons: They are not flexible to find solutions.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is incredibly convenient! It's less than a 5 minute walk to the convention center and to the train station. It's also close to restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: From the room I was in, I could hear the elevator going up and down. If you are a light sleeper, request a room away from the elevator. Also, the room was carpeted and needs to be changed. It looks dirty. I'm sure they clean it, but it's past it's better days.

Pros: Good location short stroll from train station. Room was clean
Cons: Breakfast was very ‘light’ and not comparable to other business hotels
7.1 Good
Pros: Excellent downtown location very close to station, with reasonably priced parking. Breakfast buffet limited but perfectly adequate western items.
7.9 Good
Pros: Perfect location
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location, (once I had found it) just a short walk from Okayama station and in the middle of lots of shops and eateries.
Cons: It is really geared towards Japanese businessmen, but that said, the room was very comfortable. My Japanese is not great and the staff's English was not great, but it was a handy base.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Little bigger rooms than the norm in Japan.
Cons: Breakfast felt like the R&B variant. Just bread and soup. Need more full service. Need a public bath as well.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: okayama is cool will be back
5.8 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was good. Close to the station. Check in en check out was simple and good.
Cons: Pillows are like rocks. The lift goes from outside the hotel all the way to all the floors without any security, so everybody can enter. The wifi security is 15 years passed due, that mean that it can be dangerous to connect it with your smartphone. The hotel looks new but it's quite old, all the furniture is super old and outdated. It really needs a update. Small rooms (like 99% of Japanese hotels).
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff was EXTREMELY accommodating and allowed me to change my reservation last minute because of a typhoon. The breakfast was also very good.
Cons: The wifi was not working very well.
6.7 Good
Cons: we got surprised the breakfast they had were some bread and eggs only. i just expected they had rice to make breakfast for their clients last longer for the day.
