Breakfast: Coffee was good and plentiful. The cooked breakfast options were very good. But... The orange juice was watered down. There was no fresh fruit, only tinned.
Building: This is a gem of a genuine Art Deco building with enormous potential for a specialised experience. Unfortunately it is scruffy, some of the original metal windows are rusty, and all need scraping down and re-painting properly. The building's period should be built on, not hidden under worn furniture, carpets etc. However we recognise that this would require a huge amount of money.... and imagination.
The room was clean, the bed was comfy, staff were friendly and breakfast was hot!
It would be picky to highlight anything here. It was a very good room on a budget.
The staff were brilliant rooms could do with a revamp definitely go back if I got the same deal
For by the rooms being clean they need modernisation for by that it was fine
The beds were comfy and excellent outlook.
Very dated could really do with a refurb.
Room was a good size and very good value for money. Breakfast was included in the price too. Communication with the hotel was excellent.
There’s no parking at the hotel itself which was an issue as one of my party is disabled but there is a car park around 50m away that we went to after we dropped her off. The hotel decor is dated and could do with some modernisation.
