Good price for an overnight stay
Erm, did I mention it's somewhere in the middle of town for £34 per night with an en-suite? I do like an en-suite after all. There are cheaper rooms available with a shared bathroom in this place, but my problem is that the listing can't include who you're sharing a bathroom with. I could've lucked out and been sharing with a busty blonde with bright blue eyes who keeps forgetting to lock the door when she's having a shower, but knowing my luck I'd end up with some 40-something troll who has explosive diarrhoea and shaves his bum in the sink and doesn't pick the hairs out the drain afterwards. Also, no mice/rats/bedbugs that I could see, no dead hooker in the bed, no deranged murderer interrupting my shower, etc. Very good location, bed was decent enough for drunk me, tea and coffee provisions were just what I needed, nice little telly, nice little ensuite, including mains shower with constant good pressure and hot water (I was in it for about 20 minutes), perfect for a nice, easy, no-frills stay over, great I'd assume for travellers, or for people like me who are drunk and couldn't afford the £40 taxi home. In fact, it was such good value I'm staying there again on Thursday night.
Bedroom door took a bit of a jiggle to open. Thought at one point I'd end up having to sleep on the landing. To be fair I'd drunk quite a lot of tequila beforehand so that may have been a contributing factor. Also the bedside light didn't have a bulb in it, and wasn't plugged in. There didn't actually appear to be anywhere to plug the lamp in behind the bed. I'm being picky here, this was somewhere slap bang in the middle of the town centre with an en-suite for £34. I have no right to complain. Oh, and the shower cubicle was a tad on the tight side but I am kinda fat so that's on me.
