This was a stunning place to stay! The owners are charming and treat you like real guests. The coffee smells nicely in the cosy living room, along with fresh croissants. I think the prices are quite resonable and I strongly advice the double superior room. My friends had the Junior suite and it was also amazing!! Two thumbs up !!!!
Nothing was wrong, I just think it was amazing holidays, which I wish everybody to have!
The breakfast on the terrace, which was served when we wanted it and not at some pre-designated hour, was pleasant and tasty. Great croissants! Also, probably the best shower head on our trip.
That when we would leave the Villa, we had to leave our key. Which wouldn't have been a problem if it was left behind the front desk, but it's left at the entrance. So not only could anyone enter our room, but they would, in fact, know that we were not there. As far as we know, no one did enter our room and our stuff was perfectly fine. But the concern was there. Also, the site says there was wi-fi there, but I could not detect any, and in the evening there was no one to ask about it.
We were stunned by the quality of the hotel. It is charming, spacious and so clean! We chose this hotel after recommendation of friends who visited and now keep coming back since 15 years. We loves it! A plus is the lovely terrace for breakfast and its delicious bread.
The Superior room, which we had reserved through booking.com, was of a very low standard. Fortunately, we could change it, for extra payment, for a junior suite - it was nice!
The Superior room was lousy and very poor! The toilet was so small that you could not use it.The staircase upstairs is too steep. We had chosen the hotel because of its location, as we had to take a ferry to Corsica the next morning. However, the distance to the harbour is much longer than the impression one gets from the hotel description - 20-25 min. walking with the luggage.
I thought the garden was nice
The standard was below average. I expected it to be a lot grander. I didnt like the fact that there was no night porter in the evenings. Receptionnist was average and didnt know much about where to go out in Nice except for an english bar.
Very friedly service, calm hotel located in close vicinity to the port. I felt almost like home. I would return to this hotel any time I am in Nice again.
we loved it ;the hotel is excatly what we like .A cosy, charming retreat clean and spacious rooms.this hotel is a must!
we had a recommendation from friends and we were not disapointed;it s a charming hotel that is a must stay in Nice.It s a walking distance from the old town and even with our car we didn t have to use and it staid in the parking of the hotel.breakfast are simple but good in the shade of the grapefruit tree.It s close to the sea so you can hear sea birds coming along.Rooms are redecorated and very clean .
we are an aùerican couple living in Paris. We could nt expect something better then villa la malouine ;One can smell the coffee in the staircase when you head to the terrace facing the hotel, which is lovely ,full of flowers,a grapefruit tree, mimosa tree... the staff is very helpful and has arrange every thing so we felt confortable.rooms are perctly clean and quiet. We will come back
If people can find something positive to say about this hovel I would be stunned. Rien de positive.
This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. It was dingy, dirty, the towels were grey and the texture of sandpaper, the "welcome" was sullen. The carpets were tacky with grime and we had to put the blankets on the floor to avoid staning on them. Shower had two heads, one facing the wall and the other with virtually no water pressure, shower curtain mouldy. This was the last hotel with availability in Nice, now we know why. Do not stay there if you have any alternative, yuk. Tout était sale, les serviettes épouvantables, le tapis gluant. C'était avec bon raison que çe soit le dernier hôtel à Nice avec des chambres disponibles. Ne réservez pas ici si vous avec aucun choix.
