The location. The lobby.
Very hard thick pillows. Short bed. Street noise. Small shower. It was not a comfortable bed.
A boutique style hotel, authentic and cosy. Perfect for me as a solo traveller. I arrived late in the evening and was catching the train the following morning to join friends. The hotel is ideally located as it is just a short walking distance from the train station.
I would have loved tea/coffee making facility on arrival. It is possible that this was available in the small breakfast room.
The room are simple but clean and the person we saw on departure the following day was most helpful.
This is an old city hotelmanaged in a curious way. Just before you arrive you receive a code by SMS to open the door of the hotel and you will find an envelope containing your room key. There is nobody at the reception. You are solely greeted by the pungent smell of disinfectant. The personnel come only in the morning to clean and prepare the room. Going to floors above is by using an extremely narrow staircase which when you travel with heavy cases is most inconvenient. THERE ARE NO breakfast facility.
Helpful staff, location, cute hotel
The hotel's reception was only manned between 8am and around 10-11 am so otherwise there was nobody there which was very odd! The room was tiny and cramped and quite basic! The man on the reception (when he was there!) actually asked if we wanted our room cleaned!!! Again extremely strange.
