Pros (+) The location was nice for the price. Able to quickly get anywhere in Newport News. We did stay there most of the stay, but I will not use this hotel again.
Cons (-) The whole place smelled like cigarettes. Ours was a non-smoking room and after running the A/C all day, didn't smell. But the hallways, elevator, and lobby all smelled like smoke. The room was very small, but usable. The bathrooms were not up to *my standard* of clean.
