The location is excellent and the staff were great. Rooms were very clean.
The bed was quite old feeling and the pillows we're terribly lumpy and old as well. The noise from the bar below was way too loud on Friday night, till 4am.
The French Quarters in Hell's Kitchen far exceeded our expectations. Just wow! The room was super unique, better than the pictures! The view and location were superb, and the staff was very friendly. The bathroom and decor were amazing -- it truly is a hotel that pays attention to the little details that go a long way. There are also fantastic restaurants nearby, including BarDough -- which we frequented during our stay!
We did not get the chance to sit down and have the breakfast so we can not speak to that, but reviews seemed pretty good. The only negative factor could be the noise from bar patrons on weekend nights -- for us it wasn't a big deal, but if you're looking for a very quiet place, you may ask for a more interior room.
Location and staff
Nicely situated off times sq, easy access to all Serra’s around midtown
Paid for upgrade through booking.com and paid more for tiniest room ever. Had to unplug lamp to turn off because switch broken. Niche for shampoo and etc. was outside of shower. View of the backs of other buildings from one window. Curtains wouldn’t close so had to clip closed with hair clips. Contacted property 3 times prior to visit with no response. Should have been my first clue. No attempt to correct room with 2 beds. Will not return.
