I have traveled a lot and this is by far the best place I’ve stayed. We loved the townhouse (207) facing W 46th! The newly renovated rooms are comfortable, simple but elegant, efficient. The sounds of the street are amazing-the jazz club across the street, the traffic - love it! When I didn’t want to hear it I turned on white noise from my phone to drown it out and slept beautifully in the firm but comfy bed with that amazing down comforter!!! The lite breakfast was wonderful each morning! I could not have asked for a better place to stay! They even had a bottle of sparkling cider and two champagne glasses and little bags of candy for my daughters 16th birthday! Soooooo sweet!!!!
Just a couple of things for owners to ponder. The room entry door was not well fitted to the frame so every noise in the hallway sounded like it was in our room. And it may need a better security latch instead of a chain. Also, and most importantly, the key card door leading to and in from the street would not latch closed - you did not need a key card, even tho it has a reader, to get in and out of building. It concerned me, especially at night, being that anyone could walk into the building. I felt it was a big security risk. I did mention it to the young man working front desk but nothing was done about it.
Close to the heart of Manhattan and yet surprisingly quiet, the room was comfortable and great value for money. The furniture indeed has a touch of France about it, definitely somewhere that I would consider returning to.
The room was a little on the small side but had everything I needed, and a spacious bathroom, so no real complaints!
Located close to the Times Square, yet at a quiet distance. Great staff: polite, friendly, and very helpful with tips. The team went an extra mile on a special request, which was thoughtful! The room & bathroom are clean. The bed was super comfortable. Would definitely choose again!
The breakfast selection/options are basic. It is enough nevertheless. An improvement on this, would give the hotel a 10/10.
We loved everything about our stay. The location is perfect if you are planning to visit all the touristy attractions. Our room was beautiful and spotless. We enjoyed the breakfast and getting to try all the fresh pastries offered. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We received a warm welcome from Eric and the owners which we appreciated. We were in a newly renovated two bedroom suite which was the perfect size for the 3 of us. There are so many restaurants nearby that we never had to travel far for meals. It was very easy to catch the train from JFK and get to the hotel. We would definitely stay again in the future if we get back to NYC.
Price, convenience and the friendly staff.
