We were on our honeymoon and were so pleased by Refinery. excellent host in ensuring that our honeymoon was memorable for all of the right reasons. Thank you to the team at Refinery for helping to make our honeymoon memorable!
There were a few hiccups in our reservations to do with billing and how it was handled at check-in - which were quite frustrating, but we were so thankful to host for sorting us out and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable last night at the hotel.
Best Hotel Experience
Incredible stay at the Refinery. Came here for a surprise birthday present, and the staff were incredible. Made the surprise that muh sweeter with an upgrade and non-stop next-level service. Great hotel, rooftop, jazz, staff, rooms... all great. Will stay here again soon.
Rooms were dare I say it ROOMY for NYC. Adequate storage space and closet space and bathroom was a decent size.
Thin walls, assuming our next door neighbor had to much fun at the Roof Top Bar and was throwing up the whole night, we had the pleasure of hearing every single thing for about 1-2 hours straight. Had to turn on the TV to muffle some of it out!
Decent trendy boutique
Check in and out the staff were pleasant. Comfortable beds.
Too focused on being trendy. Was advertised as a 4-5 star. More like a 3-4 star No coffee makers in room.
Trendy Boutique Hotel in the Heart of the City
My husband and I were traveling with our 2 adult children and their traveling companions, so we booked 3 rooms. All rooms were spacious and comfortable. Decor was trendy, with high end amenities. We loved the rooftop bar and had a great meal at the attached restaurant. Location was perfect. Overall, a great stay.
Some of the furniture in the room was showing some wear. And the desk chair was the only chair in the room. Also, the closet was very small. Not enough space to hang our clothes and coats.
