Amazing location overlooking Central Park. Beautiful rooms and very comfy beds. Very clean and excellent housekeeping. Beautiful breakfast room with big glass windows overlooking the park. The buffet breakfast was scrumptious with lots of choice albeit a bit expensive but a nice one off treat.
As with all NY hotels there are so many extras added to the bill that it makes it so expensive and I fail to see what I’m actually paying for. The staff were ok couldn’t really say they were welcoming or great just a basic service. It’s the location of this hotel that I love.
The front desk staff and bell captains were helpful and gave us good guidance.
There was no room service beyond breakfast. The nice outside eating area had no table service on weekends to complement our staying there to enjoy the outdoors. We ordered something in the bar and it was handed to us to carry upstairs to the room but nothing to carry it with. We noticed other customers getting a carry bag. The bar staff was noticeably ineffective and barely friendly. This hotel is WAY OVERPRICED FOR ITS VALUE!
Great location Walking distance to many attractions Great view from room on the 44th floor Speedy lifts Helpful staff Comfy bed
No refreshments in room such as kettle and coffee/tea Confusing additional facilities fee of €35 per day which allowed for daily a credit of $10
They have a $10 credit for you to use at the overpriced shop in the lobby. I would prefer a light breakfast to be included.
I liked its location
The room does not contain a fridge not even a mini bar !! There is no room service!! It’s an old place and they need to change their furniture!
