I liked the convince of location and comfort of the room.
I didn’t care to much for the inconvenience of parking and not having a bath tub plug.

Too many ghost stories!
I loved the historical and nostalgic feel of the hotel and the view from the balcony. However, the ghost tours stop in front of the hotel every night, over and over and you hear the same story about it being haunted!
The parking is terrible in the French Quarter so valet is your option but it’s expensive.

GoodJun 20168.0
The outlets in my room were almost non-functional. When I tried to plug in an appliance, the plug would wiggle and fall out just enough that it would lose contact and stop working. The TV wouldn't turn on because of this, and I had to plug the hair dryer in next to the door because the outlet in the bathroom didn't work.

wow
The complimentary breakfast was a beautiful silver tray breakfast in bed. It was a very pleasant surprise. The court yard was beautiful and the room very comfortable.
the only negative i have is that they were under construction and started working loudly very early in the morning.

I stayed for six nights in July. Summer prices were excellent, and the location is superb. According to one of the many Haunted New Orleans tours that went by, the Jackson Hotel is one of the most haunted places in NOLA. I heard nothing, spooky or otherwise, in this quiet gem. Small room, but who stays in their room for long when they're staying in the Quarter?
