The Panaroma hotel was great. Marco was very helpful and without him the stay wouldn't have been nearly as good. The location of the hotel was very near everything so we didn't have to walk far for excellent food and things to buy.
We have enjoyed the ubication of the hotel: just in center of Naxos adn walking distance of the restaurants and shops , beach etc...
The location was very convenient, the roof terrace provided great views of the sunset and our host Marcos (not sure of the spelling) was very friendly recommending a great local restaurant with view of the port without the higher price. Overall we were very happy with our stay.
The bed was a little to hard for our liking but we found this to be the case in other hotels on other islands. The price and the room were fairly typical for the Greek Islands , you probably don't get the same level of accommodation for your money on the continent but the location/setting is often the bigger draw card. The price when compared to other Greek Island hotels is probably pretty good.
We had a very warm welcome. The rooms, we booked the junior suites, were huge and perfect. The hotelowner told us that he was going to enlarge the bathrooms this winter which will make the suites excellent.
The hotel can be easily reached from the harbour when you know the right directions. We took a taxi which was not necessary. The hotelowner told us that he would have picked us up in the harbour if we would have asked for this service. This was not mentioned on the booking site.
The hotel has a fantastic view! The stuff was friendly and it was clean.
The room i was staying didn't have air conditioning. I think that they should install A/C.
View from the balcony
The room was small
lovely room, nice old building, lots of space, very light and clean, nice decor. great location in naxos town (short walking distance to the port and bus station but also to shops, restaurants, castle and museum), helpful staff
would have preferred private outdoor space and a view but this is a town centre hotel in an old building. Also there were some outside spaces towards the front of the hotel (shared I think) and these had good views towards the sea and sunset. Maybe needs more tourist info in the hotel rooms (maps etc). Had to pay cash but not a problem as plenty of cash machines down at the harbour.
The location was great albeit difficult to get to given Old Naxos' winding, uphill footpaths with heavy luggage. The owner and her son were both very helpful and pleasant.
The mattresses and bed sheets/covers seemed like they could use an update. The shower had an accumulation of hair in the drain but otherwise it was clean. There was no A/C available in our room, just a ceiling fan that was not very effective. The hotel does not provide complimetary shampoo or fresh soap for the second day and no hair dryer is available.
Beautiful hotel, very clean, excellent location
The location and views from the rooms are incredible. A quaint house in the centre of the old town, very tastefully modernised.. Friendliness and helpfulness of staff.
