8.8 Excellent
Pros: The pool, and poolside bar staff, are amazing. I spent 2 glorious days poolside and it was bliss. The breakfast was delicious and abundant with incredible views from the restaurant. The beach is also fabulous and the view of the dunes is impressive. It's a beautiful hotel that is clearly very popular with locals and families.
Cons: While the hotel itself is beautiful there were a few songs with my stay and a few areas where I'd suggest improvement. Most of the issues likely stemmed from the language barrier but I think that there are some simple solutions. Firstly, the pool bar restaurant is supposed to be open until 7pm but on both nights of my stay, this was not the case. The first night, the lights were off by 6.30 and on the second night i waited at the bar for 15 minutes with the hope someone would show up. Clear hours would be great. I also booked a massage at 5pm and was told to go to the 5th floor. I went and waited for 10 minutes (Brasil time). I went down to check and was told, oops, they meant the 6th floor. So I go up and knock on the door to discover a massage still in progress. The client was quickly ushered off the table and I was hurriedly put in her place. It was 5.20 by then. After 2 phone calls and a door knock distracted my masseuse, a second knock, at 6pm, signalled the end of my "1 hour" (read, 40 minute) massage. I was hurried out and quickly charged the full rate. It was far from a relaxing experience. Dejected from both of these experiences, I returned to my room to order room service....but what number to call? This information is nowhere to be found on any menu, pamphlet or phone. I tried calling the only number I could find and there was no answer. Please provide more clear information to your international customers. Another note...there is no ATM on site. You will need cash for massages and tours. There is also no store and nowhere to purchase snacks on site. Room snacks are not free (despite no signage indicating prices).

Pros: Nice, clean, easy to use, well maintained, pool and garage
Cons: Breakfast... first in, first served. For the other coming later, good luck with the rest of the food... No drinkable water and no bottles available at the reception from 12pm onward... it is just 27c min day in, day out...

Pros: Very friendly staff!! Always helpful, they have helped us finding the best activities to do around Natal. Perfect location right in front of the beach.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was super helpful and friendly (Licia was super nice with us). We recommend this
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to the main area of Ponta Negra but just far enough away to be more quiet and tranquil. Breakfast and dinner was excellent and the pool area was superb.
Cons: There were not many long lounge chairs. We were able to secure them when went to the pool, but during a busy season there probably wouldn’t be enough so go to the pool area early if that’s important to you.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All was perfect! They gave us an upgrade and their facilities are awesome!
Cons: Dinner
Aparthotel Margherita - Natal - Pool

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast and attentive staff Maurizio arranged everything, including van pickup to airport
Cons: Confusion between Booking.com and hotel: Booking said breakfast was included/ Hotel said it wasn't (in the end, Maurizio kindly included breakfast!) The bathroom didn´t have any soap!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location and helpful friendly staff. Fabulous view from the balcony along Ponta Negra beach.
Cons: Chairs on the balcony would be useful so we didn't need to move furniture from inside to sit outside.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The main plus, was the location of the apartment and it’s balcony looking at the ocean close by, so close to hear the waves crushing on the beach. An amazing view, probably the best honestly in Ponta Negra. Manager Morricio and his staff members were just so available, hospitable, helpful and friendly!
Cons: The apartment needed some fixing on arrival, in particular to close properly the glass sliding doors and fixing the TV. Morricio responded very quickly to fix those problems. The furniture is not very new, in particular the couch was completely brocken, and extremely uncomfortable. The kitchen was nice but The overall pots and pans, cutlery, overall ustensiles are well below what anyone would expect from such a high end apartment. The cabinet doors in the bedrooms are in need to be repainted.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location, and the size of room
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I got a good deal for the grand suite and was happy with that
Cons: Although all rooms come with kitchen none of them have any utensils , and did nit relise this before booking. I think they should have utensils otherwise what’s the point in having a kitchin. I mean I’m English and do not live in Brazil so I would not have a frying pan etc
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The position of the hotel and the very attentive staff.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The front desk staff were very helpful, restaurant manager Fernando was very accommodating, and the cleaning lady (I'm sorry I forgot her name) was wonderful.
Cons: The only thing I didn't like was the outlet connection, it's outdated other than that we loved it.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location and breakfast great.
Cons: Nothing to report.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect near the beach. Easy walk within 1/8th of a mile.
Cons: I didn't like the delayed laundry service. It seemed like no one knew where my clothes were. To eat food after hours you have to go to the pool bar. Caution...The table had bird droppings with no table cloth. The breakfast is marginal and nothing exciting. Most don't speak english even though its a main tourist area. Some staff are hesitant to help. Over out of 5, i give them 2.5
7.9 Good
Pros: Room was clean, daily service was good. Well located, good price, breakfast (including awesome fresh tapiocas/omelets) was very good.
Cons: # of staff at swimming pool area was awful. Waiting too much. Some staff was exceptional, but some of them were very bad at service :(
Natal Dunnas Hotel - Natal - Pool
9
8.9 Excellent (2,045 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Natal Dunnas Hotel in Natal (Ponta Negra), you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Ponta Negra Beach and Morro do Careca. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
6.7 Good
Pros: The location of the hotel is fantastic and there's a beautiful view of the beach. The outdoor area has two pools, one hot and one cold, and both very large. There are also comfortable couches and sitting areas outside making it the perfect place to relax. There was a lot for breakfast and the stock changed regularly.
Cons: The check in was a little confusing. When we entered the room we were followed by staff with an agreement to sign, saying we agree to not bring any external food items inside the hotel, and listed the various costs of things. The room didn't have any information book or anything so we didn't know when breakfast ended, what the number was for reception, whether there was room service or what was on offer. Our card for the room kept randomly not working. The staff were nice but it felt somewhat understaffed at times. We were sitting by the pool bar and one staff member was moving constantly between there, the restaurant, and going up the elevator to rooms. It felt like there needed to be a team, so it took like 15 or 20 minutes for us to get two drinks. While the hotel itself and the staff are great, I think the business would benefit from better policies and management to make work easier for staff and the facilities more inviting for guests.
7.0 Good
Pros: Lovely looking facility, great pool, close to beach, comfortable rooms
Cons: Very understaffed - staff that were there were, understandably, a little surly as rushed off their feet. Difficult to converse or be understood in either Spanish or English. Food pretty average.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Pool area nice.
Cons: The pictures look a lot nicer than what it was. Bed linen not really tucked under mattress so it moved and no mattress protectors.
6.3 Good
Pros: -the location, you had a road so you could easily go to the beach during the day. -the pool, great! -the warm, fantastic shower -the helpful boy who carried us luggage and helped us well
Cons: -No reception could speak English or have difficulty in helping us. -There was a lot of noise in the breakfast room, luckily we were allowed to sit outside. -No shampoo or new towels. For a good price-quality ratio that is allowed. -it is a busy hotel so you should not come here for peace
Manary Praia Hotel - Natal - Building

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nada
Cons: Very nice place, close to the beach, with relax and good food
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good hotel Perfect Romantic Wonderful
7.9 Good
Pros: Location, restaurant
Cons: A little dated. Could benefit a lot from a remodel.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The rooms and the hotel are nicely decorated.
Cons: The service is not commensurate with the price at all. This is one of the most expensive hotels in Natal—they belong to a hotel group called “Roteiros de Charme” (Charming Itineraries), but the service is mediocre at best and not to the level of a hotel that touts itself as a boutique hotel. The room’s door is posted with a list of 18 rules that guests must follow; the receptionist presented us with a form taking responsibility for beach towels, even though we hadn’t decided if we’d even go to the beach or the pool—he insisted that I sign the form even though it was blank. I booked an Ocean View room for my wife’s birthday, but the view from my veranda looked at the hotel across the street (if you stretch your neck, you can see part of the ocean from the room). The internet was incredibly slow; while they advertise that all the rooms have satellite TV, ours didn’t work (we were told that it was a provider problem, but why wasn’t it noticed before the room was rented?). They do not provide shower caps in the bathroom; the coffee maker in our room didn’t work. Parking is terrible—they have 4 parking spots. During the night, I was bit by some insect and had an allergic reaction. My wife tried calling the front desk, but nobody answered. We had to go down and ask if there was a 24-hour pharmacy nearby; the reception indicated a pharmacy, but on the way there, I found one that was closer (thank goodness). Despite all this, my wife didn’t let this ruin her birthday, but this was not the experience I wanted to give her. Won’t be coming back to stay here.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Charming Hotel, Great and helpful staff
Cons: Just a few sunbeds at the pool. The wifi did not work in the rooms.
7.1 Good
Pros: Location Food
Cons: Kids running around past 10pm wile we were having a romantic dinner.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here for 4 nights and loved every second, very relaxing place right by the beach with a nice pool area and restaurant facing the sea. The staff were lovely, very friendly and always happy to help. We stayed at a place further down the coastline that week and kept commenting to each other how much cleaner Manary was...
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Stylish decor, room, pillows, bathroom, top seafront location, beach, superb poolside restaurant and perfect hotel maintenance.
Cons: Small and cold swimming pool. Beach amenities, like sunshades, are removed at 3PM. 10% service tax added to the bill.

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. 9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff are really nice, breakfast is complete, location is amazing just 2 min walking from the beach and the rooms have amazing views to the beach too!
Cons: They lack some facilities in the room, but in general they provide you with everything.
7.1 Good
Pros: Location was great, very close to the beach and in the right location at Ponta Negra. Breakfast was ok, swimming pool and views were great
Cons: Pillows: sounds minor, but pillows were awful, and a little extra investment would make the experience way better. The room was also quite small for a family of 4 people, I'd rather take 2 rooms instead as they all look the same size. Finally, staff was very friendly, but they weren't knowledgeable about tours, beaches and cities to visit. A simple training on the topic would make guests much more welcome :)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff are the best one that I could see.
Cons: It was missing a “room service”, maybe with some snacks, lunch and dinner.

9.5 Excellent (134 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was great, the bed qas very comfortable and the room was very clean, breakfast was also very good.
Cons: Nothing, it was all very good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful! For my purposes everything about Suits A Beira Mar was perfect. Lucy speaks perfect English making communication, planning and chatting very easy for me as an English speaker. The rooms are not facing the ocean. This actually ended up being a bonus as it is very quiet and so I had a better sleep while staying here than any other property since arriving in Brazil. The deck/patio area is ocean front and you can sit in the shade with the breeze blowing watching the ocean and activities below all day if you wanted. I was working so could set up my 'office' on the patio table and work away. The beach is an urban beach but it is very clean, very little litter, and families abound. The ocean is warm and constant waves and breeze make boogie boarding, body surfing, kite surfing, paddle boarding all very possible and pleasant. Getting to the beach is truly less than a minute, out the door and cross the street. Breakfast was by far the best I ate in Brazil, fresh fruit, baking, juice, coffee, eggs to order +++ Lucy is an incredible host...and her husband is wonderful. Friendly, peaceful atmosphere abounds! My room was perfect for a single person or couple, I did not see any of the other rooms.
Cons: It was all perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Sea Front view. Great hosts!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner and her partner were very nice people, very welcoming Amazing contact
Cons: All was great!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: EVERYTHING!! Lucy and Osvaldo are the best, very attentive, friendly. Just amazing people. Location is perfect - close to everything, the beach is right in front of the hotel. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruit and items to order if you want. The hotel is small, which is great IMO. Room was spacious, comfy bed. Will be back!
Cons: They don't accept credit cards.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was our first time in Brazil. Even though we arrived around 23.00, the keys were already waiting for us at the reception. Not only was Mr Alain a great host, but he also turned out to be our city guide. He gave us plenty of hints and advices how to get around in 'Brazilian jungle' as 'European gringos'. Thanks to him communication with local people was easier (none of us spoke Portuguese) .The apartment was fully equipped, nothing lacked! From the balcony there was a view on the ocean - sunrises are breathtaking. Location of the apartment was perfect - close to beach and bakeries for breakfast. Despite the fact that our stay was only 4 days long, the host took care of us remotely during our further journey. It is worth mentioning he helped us with procedure of renting a car - which was purely in Portuguese. Without him our holidays wouldn't be the same!!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location was great close to beach, restaurants cafes. owner was super helpful
Cons: A bit disappointed there was no cable tv.

Pros: breakfast was great , staff was very friendly ,
Cons: I was theire for holiday For me swimmingpool is very small and only 3 seats to lay down. So not nice to spend an afternoon
7.1 Good
Pros: Rooms big and clean
Cons: No common spaces. 30 minutes wait for lunch and bar
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It has a great location and the staff is really helpful. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Also, the breakfast is delicious with many different options!
4.6 Okay
Cons: I have been to this hotel on many occasions, however this last visit has been a complete disappointment for a 5 star rated hotel. RECEPTION Check in Experience was absolutely horrific. KLEBER the receptionist who attended to my check in had no notion of customer service. He showed no empathy or friendliness. It felt like he as doing me a favour just checking me in. I have never experienced this before at this hotel. Other members on the reception desk know how to treat guests which can be expected for a luxury hotel. ROOM SERVICE I ordered a three course meal for two. After one hour I rang the restaurant to find out what had happened to my order. The member of staff told me that it was being plated up and would be with shortly. After waiting for another hour I called the restaurant and finally the meal was being delivered to my room. The following night I just ordered a bucket of ice, and that took an hour to get to my room. MANAGEMENT Having all these shortfalls and being a 5 star hotel I was obliged to inform a senior member of staff. As I was explaining the problems which had occurred during my stay at the hotel, the manageress became very defensive and she was not listening to what I had to say. She mention that an event was taking place on the two nights I had used room service hence the delay. This is NOT ACCEPTABLE for a 5 star hotel. Again she showed no empathy or understanding. How can a hotel claim a 5 star rating with such a poor service to its guests Como um hotel pode reivindicar uma classificação de 5 estrelas com um serviço tão ruim para seus hóspedes
9.6 Excellent
Cons: The noise of the another's guests, like when close the doors....
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was pleasant
Cons: A little noisy because of the cars passing by
