Possible safety issues
I liked everything about it The atmosphere was wonderful, as well as the wonderful staff going out of their way to make our stay a comfortable and pleasant one. I would definitely stay there again.
Upon check-in, the concierge was efficient, kind, helpful and once she learned I had pets, she gave me a welcome doggy bag. She gave us great recommendations for dinner too. When leaving the next day, we met the housekeeper and she was the sweetest woman (Wanda, I think?) anyway she was from Atlanta but training there for two months and she was so kind and welcoming! I love Aloft - the bed was comfortable, the room was spacious, the amenities were perfect and the hotel was convenient. The only thing I wasn't super fond of was the parking lot design that you can't park and then roll your luggage into the hotel...you have to walk up or down 6 stairs to get to the floor and there's really no port-a-cochere to drop off your bags...you have to park on 18th and it was raining buckets so it was inconvenient to get rained on and then have to park the car separately.
The parking, dropping off of bags is all awkward. Steep parking prices!
Parking was very confusing.
Location was wonderful was able to walk to local restaurants and took a short Uber ride to Broadway
The water in the shower wasnt hot at all assuming due to the temperature outside
