1.0 Poor
Pros: res
Cons: tot
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed quite comfy
Cons: Breakfast choice poor quality. Only one pillow each.
6.7 Good
Pros: Clean cheap stopover to break the motorway journey. There was an issue with the automatic checkin machine - the staff who came to sort it was charming and helpful.
Cons: The screen on the automatic checkin had broken and frozen displaying another room number and key. This left me concerned about security. Some other occupants were smoking heavily in their room (despite many signs saying it’s against the law) and the whole corridor stank! I guess they felt unchecked as there’s no staff about. We informed the staff who cam to sort the checkin machine and this was sorted swiftly.
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: There was no staff to check in and THE AUTOMATIC MACHINE DID NOT WORK. We could not get the code to access to the hotel and to our room. We made three calls to the customer service but they spoke such a poor English that they could not help us and hanged the phone three times!!! This is unacceptable!!! Finally, after half an hour of desperation at midnight, after a long trip, it seems that a member of the staff realised that there were problems outside, got up from his bed and helped us. I have to say that this member and his job mate are the same guys who serve breakfast at morning and that they are very kind and professional
2.9 Mediocre
Cons: The receptionist was not welcoming. Not very helpful and bad attitude.
7.1 Good
Pros: Simple check-in/check-out, breakfast was simple but good
Cons: Toilets were ventilated with warm air, way too warm!
6.3 Good
Pros: Automated check-in system is great for late guests. The safety measures in terms of locks are good. Breakfast was okay (not the best one, but for the price - very good).
Cons: Smell in the room was a bit strange. The water-resistant layer of bed sheets made it super uncomfortable to sleep because you are sweating in the spots where you touch the sheet even with A/C turned on.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very convenient for motorway, very helpful and friendly staff, excellent food, clean everywhere and super comfy beds
7.1 Good
Pros: Beds comfortable
Cons: Breakfast layout disorganised, lack of cutlery on table, hot food/hot water either tepid or cold. Staff not helpful. When asked for a carafe of water took one from another residents table and put it back on the buffet and walked off without saying anything.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and well managed location. Friendly staff, comfortable room. Good breakfast and optimum secure parking.
Cons: One part of the restaurant staff at dinner, but nothing critical.
7.5 Good
Pros: Welcoming staff willing to help us as customers Decent breakfast options. Free for one kid if an adult pays for his / her own breakfast (and for the same chosen option only : buffet or light one) Pleasant design inside
Cons: Pretty old building, poor aspect from the outside for the number of stars. Soundproof not very good in the rooms Price of a 4 but comfort of a 3 stars based upon my personal experience We chose that hotel for the options given for electric cars... many for Tesla only one for others and it was not working... but again friendly staff who help to plug our car with the domestic one.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Great for night stop when driving.
Cons: The restaurant's menu was not that great. Being in France I would have expected a wider variety.
Overview Reviews
See hotel page Surrounded by incredible nature, guests at The Originals Access, Hotel Le Puech, Narbonne can also enjoy the vibrancy of life in the town, which is full of art and culture. It is a highly popular destination - not only for holidaymakers, but for those travelling on business too. Sophie has fully-renovated rooms, a brand new restaurant, a car park and meeting rooms waiting for you, all against a backdrop of kindly and warm hospitality.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good location for The Grand Buffet.
6.3 Good
Cons: AC was available in our room but didn‘t work. Instead a noisy fan was placed in the room. The beds were much too soft, the room itself was very tiny. All in all a cheap room for one night - not more. The missing AC functionality was certainly the biggest problem in a hot summer night.
6.3 Good
Pros: near the high-way
Cons: Small room
7.1 Good
Pros: Clean, good breakfast
Cons: Lady in the morning was extremely rude as o posed to all other stuff members that we encountered in last few years staying here. She should not be anywhere near customers.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel with nice breakfast for 08€. Quite place. 30 minutes walking to historical city center. Supermarket is nearby. Nice beds. Parking for free.
Cons: Room size.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good location, good wifi. Good mattress, good pillow +++
Cons: small room, need to be refurbished no more up to date; idem for the bathroom.

7.8 Good (1,995 reviews)
Overview Reviews

Between sea and land, and close to the A9 and A61 highways, it's ideally located for your vacation to the African Reserve or your business trips. Come and enjoy the sun throughout the year!
7.0 Good
Pros: The place is calm
Cons: There was no possibility of a breakfast at 9 in the morning, which is a bit uncommon
7.0 Good
Pros: Location - Parking - Staff
Cons: Breakfast
7.0 Good
Pros: Placement of the hotel is pretty convienient if you want to stop on the way, it is very close to the highway and has a large shopping area nearby with some nice restaurants and a cinema. Hotel is rather clean,
Cons: The corridor where our room was had a strong tobacco, which was unpleasant. The room and bathroom are pretty small, but for the price of the hotel it is acceptable.
7.1 Good
Pros: Friendly staff, reasonably sized room.
Cons: The bunk bed over the double was unmade, while it got too hot to sleep at night. Air Con didn't seem to do much. Smallest shower curtain in the world and shower head was a replacement which didn't fit the fittings so couldn't be adjusted.
6.3 Good
Cons: Our bedroom was somewhat noisy since its window didn't isolate properly and it faced a nearby road.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Worth the price. Chain hotel, simple, not many facilities, not central, but comfortable, cheap. We had a good sleep
Cons: Nothing special. It's located in a industrial area, so you need a car
6.7 Good
Pros: The staff
Cons: Difficult to find directions supplied didn't give enough information
7.9 Good
Pros: Located next to the highway, so is perfect if you drive through and need a bed for a night. Self-checking automat at the entrance. We got a room on the other side to highway, so it was not really noisy. In general, we expected the worst while booking but it came out to be much better. No surcharge for dogs.
Cons: The breakfast on weekend start at 9.30, which is a bit late.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: The guy on reception was lovely and very helpful
Cons: Noise from the road was ridiculous, hotel decor terrible, breakfast terrible I think it was €6.60 I had one look and decided not to bother. Room horrible, woke up with itchy spots on my back neck and arms from whatever the hell was living in the bed. €46 for the night I guess you get what you pay for. I stayed there while passing through Narbonne to break up a 14 hour drive, I wont make that mistake again.
ibis budget Narbonne Est - Narbonne - Building
5
7.7 Good (3,986 reviews)
Overview Reviews
The ibis budget Narbonne Est is a 2-star hotel that offers 74 rooms of various types (Double, Twin, Triple) including 3 rooms for people with reduced mobility. The rooms are all equipped with Sweet Bed by ibis bedding, a shower, toilet and flat-screen TV. The hotel is fully air conditioned and the WIFI is free! Several breakfast menus are available and pets are welcome too (charges apply).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was ideal due to the fact that it was close to the Highway exit and entry. Easy to find the hotel location which was close to all the amenities required e.g., restaurants, gas station, supermarket, etc. It was quiet and we (me and my wife) were very happy and the staff, both in the evening when we checked in and in the morning when we left was very helpful and assisted us in all manner. Also spoke good English. Although we speak several languages we prefer a place at least one language we can communicate very well. We were completely satisfied. The bed was comfortable too especially after driving 12 hours one needs a comfortable bed and a quiet place to rest as we had another long journey of 12 hours a good night's sleep is necessary especially for us being in our 70's,
Cons: For the price and service we got we were completely satisfied and nothing we didn't like. As we said in our earlier comments that all that is required of a good hotel IBIS Budget did offer it and one cannot ask for more.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming and friend,y staff. Excellent restaurant closeby.
Cons: Noise from motorway, best to stay at rear of hotel for a good nights sleep.
7.0 Good
Pros: Easy access from the motorway. Great for overnight stop. Unfortunately due to the Coronavirus food was not available, not their fault, we were grateful the hotel was at least still open. Plenary of restaurants within the immediate vicinity. (Not open at the time though) Dog friendly.
Cons: We were in room 210, once TV was off there was a terrible noise all night, sounded like a boiler starting up and then a few mins later going off, this happened all night. So perhaps avoid this room.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Bed bed was comfortable.
Cons: No breakfast available, noise from plumbing was horrendous
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfy bed, spacious shower (shame about wrong shower head). Room was nice and dark and quiet.
Cons: Basic breakfast could be smartened up a bit. Glasses instead plastic cup for orange juice, plates to put the bread and toast on. Yes I know it adds to clearing up but if your using China cups you probably use a dishwasher. No drinks in room.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location, room,breakfast.
Cons: The security car park gate was not closed at night, we were told that we would need to use the security code to get in but it was still open at 22.00. The glass shower door did not close fully and was rubbing the metal sill.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Perfect! Room was rather warm during the night. Good breakfast.
Cons: Easy acces. Safe parking

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was small but comfortable, tea and coffee was a lovely addition for us after travelling so far.
Cons: The restaurant was close by. Bathroom was clean and lovely white towels
5.8 Okay
Pros: Clean and comfortable with good shower and friendly staff.
Cons: Nothing else nearby. 2 small pots of milk for 2 people isn’t enough. Food was poor compared to other Campaniles. I asked for my burger to be cooked medium and it was as dry as a bone. Bread was stale and rock hard. Unusual for Campanile.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were excellent. Could not do enough to help.
Cons: Breakfast was poor. Would have been nice to have a choice of a cooked breakfast.
5.8 Okay
Cons: The staff are rude and bad tempered and everything is too much trouble. If you are on mountain bikes as we were it isn’t to easy to escape and so we elected to dine there. One of our group did not have a starter and her main course arrived as we were beginning our starter, there was then a huge delay before our main courses arrived. We were polite the staff were sullen. At breakfast there were no spoons we asked for some and got teaspoons I then asked for larger spoons and got a heavy sigh followed by stamping off to the kitchen and a four minute delay before the arrival of two spoons - there were 4 of us. I guess we were meant to share.

Pros: Bed was just great, staff super, breakfast was just what we wanted, Thank you we will be black soon.
6.7 Good
Pros: Staff was friendly
Cons: It wasn't as clean, as I would like for example the dirty carpets. Also wish mattresses had plastic cover to keep mattresses clean.
7.1 Good
Pros: It was all at very short notice. And went very quick.
Cons: I stood at the door of the second property and couldn't get it. The computer didn't recognize my code. There was no reference to another building. It was bitterly cold as the door didn't close due to the movement detector. The phone number on the reservation didn't answer! Just by chance did I see the help inter-phone and they told me that the reception was in the building across the road .
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Convenience to the motorway, easy to find and quiet.
Cons: How to differentiate between property 1 and 2 could be better indicated.

Pros: Very clean room & bathroom, looked as it had been newly refurbished, cafe type restaurant, the food wasn’t cheap but it was fantastic, the staff were lovely & helpful
Cons: Just a very little picky thing, the floors in the bedroom & bathroom were tiled which looked lovely but could have done with a few rugs as the weather was cold & even though had the heating on it was very chilly underfoot, fine if you had bought your slippers which I hadn’t, but everything else was great
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were lovely, the food very nice
Cons: A little noisy and the bathroom is too small
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Spatious and clean room, kind staff. We had access to a small garden directly from our room.

Cons: Rooms can be a little noisy
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were fantastic. The receptionist, the chef, the servers, the domestics - everyone. The room was spotlessly clean, with a very modern bathroom, bed very comfortable with soft pillows and crispy white bed linen. We had evening dinner though which was delicious and breakfast which was also delicious. I recommend this to everyone

6.3 Good
Pros: It was easy to find and the people were quite nice and even recommended a great place to eat.
Cons: Overall, the place is a bit run-down. The rooms were a tad dusty and the corridors were quite dark. However, if you are going to just sleep for like a night, it works out fine.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is the big plus. We walked into the city center the two days that we stayed. It's a good walk but definitely doable. The rooms are quiet and well insulated from other guests although we were on the street side. They had wonderfully fluffy soft blankets!
Cons: Parking would be a hassle but we were very lucky to get a spot in front of the hotel. They do have limited underground parking for 10 euros a day. The breakfast was basic for 10 euros a day, not much variety. Good chocolatines though! Didn't find anything exceptional around for dining.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The room was quite spacious.
Cons: The receptionist was extremely rude and unhelpful. The bed was also very uncomfortable with a tiny pillow
2.5 Mediocre

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very simple but big room. Proximity to station is excellent. Easy to find and very good instructions sent before stay re parking.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The lady was very sweet and was working perpetually (alone) to manage the hotel.
Cons: Plumbing needs attention
6.7 Good
Pros: Clean, comfortable bed, conveniently situated
Cons: Staff, only one, could have been more helpful. Hotel closed just before noon with a phone number left. Stairs to the second floor are very steep when carrying a case (don't expect any assistance).
7.5 Good
Pros: It was a comfortable 2 Star hotel. Nothing more nothing less. Close to the rail station and not far from centre.
Cons: Unable to check in until 3-00 ( literally ) which meant we were stuck with our cases.
7.9 Good
Pros: Very friendly, kind and helpful receptionist. Lovely old spiral staircase.
Cons: Soundproofing isn't that good. Upstairs was a family with noisy kids. I could hear them running and banging about until very late.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very close to the train station and within 5 minutes walking to the city. The receptionist speaks English well and recommends walking around the city too.
Cons: There is no lift and shower base, broken, no kettle and fridge.

9.4 Excellent
Pros: Rodney was really helpful!... knowledgeable & great guide to the city. Hotel is superbly located.
Cons: Bed was a little too firm
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast spread wasn't interesting, we only had it for the 1st day and didn't continue.
6.3 Good
Pros: Modernised but old-fashioned hotel- for example an historic building but self-opening front doors. Very clean room and bedding. And there was a slightly comfortable armchair so you could sit and read, with just enough leg-room. Very well lit, by the way, for the poor in eyesight. A kettle and the usual tubes of Nescafe etc., though some interesting tea. No milk - you have to get that from Reception. The loo was independent from the wash/shower room - a good thing if two stay in this room (No 24)
Cons: Rather cool and functional reception, nothing wrong, but nothing really welcoming and friendly: for example I arrived very tired after a long train journey and walked with heavy luggage in a REALLY strong and cold wind (not anybody’s problem) I was told that it is always very windy in Narbonne... and that, although I had paid in full, I would still have to pay for local taxes when I left. And that breakfast was 12+ Euro, or perhaps less if I wanted less. I thought I had paid a lot of money for my three night stay - and even one or two welcoming, genuinely Free, perks would have been so much appreciated by me. Or even, simply, ‘Ah you poor thing, you must be tired,,, bla bla’. Why not??? PLEASE NOTE THIS: Seemed mercenary more than caring; I would prefer Star Categories in general to be calibrated NOT on whether there is a Kettle, or a Trouser-Press, but on the consistent standard of welcome.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, breakfast, clean rooms and halls, great location for taking in the sights on foot. We would highly recommend this hotel. Great value in an historic building. We would definently stay here again. Can't say enough about this place.

Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely English lady who owns it was exremely friendly and welcoming. Room was excellent and bathroom great. Gave good advice on where to do and what to do. Like many travellers in France at present we were accidental visitors as were stuck by the rail strike before going to Barcelona next day. A very pleasant stopover. Breakfast was quite nicely presented and value for money
Cons: Having to Pay the standard €10 taxi fare for a 2 minute ride to the rail station. Rooms are a bit small if you want to have drinks and some nibbles in the room. Water in the shower was tepid.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a beautifully renovated traditional hotel perfectly located in the city centre so easy to explore Narbonne on foot. There's a style and calmness about it that makes you want to return!
Cons: They were rigid about the 2pm check in time.

Cons: A little noisy and the bathroom is too small

Pros: Spatious and clean room, kind staff. We had access to a small garden directly from our room.
Cons: Maybe it is a little far away from city center

Pros: The front desk went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, given the madness with the Corona virus and all, thank you so much!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved everything about this place! The manager Elodie was wonderful, very helpful, a joy to work with, and she demonstrated excellent communication (bilingual at least) both in person and over text and email. The breakfast was lovely, fresh, had variety in both food and drink and was the perfect start to the day. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable, beautifully decorated and each had unique personality. Everything was super clean, and the climate control was perfect. The nights were quiet, and there were even good means to darken windows as desired. The common areas were incredibly beautiful - a paradise inside and out, including an indoor pool and jacuzzi, varied seating and table areas, and with lush vegetation and flowers everywhere. In sum, I can't imagine staying anywhere else when I am in Narbonne.
Cons: I can't think of a single thing that could have been better for me.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The villa was really quite wacky but it worked very well. Very good breakfast and good recommendations for dinner - La Table du Marche was superb.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Tranquility
Cons: Hard to think of anything
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Artistic decor tastefully presented in beautiful grounds.
Cons: Nothing
9.0 Excellent
Pros: There is a small reading nook with 2 white-slipcovered armchairs on the balcony—I wanted to stay there all day! THe rooms were cool, both in temperature and decor, and temp was easily adjustable. Great outside socializing space, very quiet area, but easy walk by the canal to the ‘old city’ and market area.
Cons: A little tricky to find, and the hothouse atmosphere of the main floor was warmer and damper than I preferred, but everyone I travelled with loved it.

Pros: Very close to the train station and within 5 minutes walking to the city. The receptionist speaks English well and recommends walking around the city too.
Cons: There is no lift and shower base, broken, no kettle and fridge.
