Hotel Tourist

Location was fair - but it was down an alley, so at night is was loud. Liked that we could leave the key at the desk (since it was a heavy brass keyring) and did not have to take the chance in loosing it.

The beds (2 twins - might have had 4 inches between the two) were hard and no room to move around. Shower in bathroom was small (approx. 2.5 x 2.5 ft), so difficult to take showers (interesting since a newly remodeled), the breakfast cafe was never open as stated - so always had to go away to get breakfast and coffee. All TV's were in Italian (but we were in Italy), challenge in making the a/c work, and the 1st floor was actually the 2nd floor with no elevator and narrow staircase, made challenging for carrying luggage upstairs (remember the I Love Lucy episode of them up/down stairs while in Italy).

The Location within walking distance of the train station is the only positive thing I can say about this hotel.

The room was very dirty. In particular the bathroom actually had mold. It is very clear no effort is put into this hotel at all to provide any value for the cost. I have stayed at lower cost hotels but that does not excuse such poor cleanliness.

The 24 hour check in was rare in Naples, so it was great that I could check in late. Easy to find and close to the train station.

The bed was extremely hard and very uncomfortable, with only a thin sheet available. I was certain that breakfast was included when I booked, but the staff said it was an additional payment.
