The Fair Street location is very convenient to Town and to the bike paths heading out of Town for a morning run or bike ride. The continental breakfast was basic but nice and the garden is a beautiful place to enjoy it before the start of the day. We stayed in a room with an en suite bathroom which was obviously much more convenient than not having one. The hotel also has another location in Sconcet with a beachside pool - I wish we had the opportunity to visit that as well as it sounded like fun.
The bed was a little hard, but relatively minor complaint in the scheme of things.

It was close to the center and within walking distance
There was to a real staff on duty, but when we did speak with them they were very nice.

Good location about a 5-6 minute walk from town.
The Summer House on Fair Street has gone way down hill and I would not recommend it. When we arrived the staff was basically on strike and had not been paid. There was also no hot water. Everyone in town knew about it and were surprised to hear it was still open.

The staff is very friendly and extremely accommodating. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary with our 2 year old son and even though Tropical Storm Jose created some unforeseen travel and accommodation complications, the owner and management worked with us to provide a fantastic weekend. We appreciated the complimentary continental breakfast, the cottage atmosphere, proximity to downtown, and access to multiple bike paths.
If only the weather had cooperated, we would've stayed longer.
