10.0 Excellent
Pros: location. rooms were as shown on website.. big and nice.
Cons: Breakfast... seems like all the foreigners were placed together in an particular area.. or was it coincidental? onsen's walking distance.. a bit of a walk from lobby.
7.0 Good
Pros: The rooms were huge and had a sea view - it was splendid to wake up to the sunrise every morning at the horizon. I like that the bathrooms were huge. Staff members were patient, kind and extremely polite, as all Miyazaki locals are. Hotel breakfast buffet was expensive but had varied cuisines - more fruits would be appealing
Cons: I absolutely cannot fathom why there is a need to pay for the fitness centre or indoor pool for hotel guests! I also didn’t quite enjoy the onsen environment which was dark, dingy and a little grimy. There was a huge pond surrounding the outdoor onsen which was quite lovely though a little misleading (thought that was an onsen too). For an international hotel, I was a little taken aback by so many intimidating signs of no tattoos allowed. Although the culture is understandable, but perhaps providing covers for small tattoos are possible? The entire hotel has a rather tired and dated feel to it even though, as with all Japanese hotels, it was well maintained. Overall, still a pleasant stay
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Magnificent views, clean and socialise rooms With good onsen facility Worths the price
7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel was lovely but the staff didnt speak english very well amd we were misles on a few activities which was disappointing. There is much to see and do but not easy to get to.so definately recommend hiring a car. Make sure you have an international DL. Otherwise beaitiful stay. Great food. Be aware pool is clised outside of aummwr months.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Walking distance to places l want to visit . Staff speak fluent English. Especially thanks to Miss Nakamura for booking tables (we had hard time without reservation last year)
Cons: None
7.9 Good
Pros: It was close to the public transportation as well as in walking distance to a lot of restaurants. We got an complementary drink at the bar, which was delicious and the view was quite nice. The bathroom was outdated but equipped with all you will need for ur stay. Complementary water in the fridge and instant coffee had been provided. Bed was hard but compfy.
Cons: Sadly, as I don’t feel comfortable speaking in Japanese, I spoke English. Firstly this was no problem, as soon as the clerk noticed that my sister could speak Japanese fluently, I was thin air. I expect as an booker of the room to be attended or at least been looking at during the explanation how the hotel facilities work, which had to been just told to my sister with not even a slightest look in my direction.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very close to the station Rooms space quite big
Cons: cold wind doesn’t come out from air con when autumn or winter, not everyone ok for warm wind.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: All the little extras: free tea, free breakfast, use of a mini fridge and the onsen. The bed is very comfortable.
Cons: The breakfast is not optimal for a European vegetarian. It lacks fresh fruits and other healthy items. The cleaning each day takes from 10 until 3, so you can not access your room then. For one person the room is fine, but I think that for two it is on the small side.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Too small, no water in room, breakfast inedible, no t a good range of food, no where to sit in hotel apart from room as wooden uncomfortable seats and tables, like a youth hostel, cheap budget hotel!!

Cons: Open air bath as well, freezing during morning access
7.9 Good
Pros: Off beat location but good for the money - very strange outside shower /bathtub arrangement
Cons: Not much - perfectly decent for the price
5.8 Okay
Pros: The Tatami room no 101 was spacious and we love the outdoor private bath ( not onsen natural hot spring ). The inn was really quiet as it seems we were the only guest. Clean room and provided with Comfortable mattress not Futon. They provide Simple Breakfast eg.Bread, Butter and jam are provided . Smooth check in and ample car park. Supermarket is within walkable distance from the Inn.
Cons: Difficult to locate the building as the banner are all written in Japanese. Staffs speaks minimal English but manageable. No window in the room not even in the bath area. We were paranoid as few mud crabs crawling in to our room at night. Managed to stuffed towel under the door to stop any creepy crawly coming in. Will not consider to stay in this Inn again.
7.0 Good
Pros: At least, one person of the staff, Masayo, was friendly and she took me in her car to the beach. I guess I was lucky to check in just before she left. The bed is very comfortable.
Cons: This is the 28th time I come to Japan and Yurakuan is far the coldest and most impersonal place I have ever been to. I am used with family run minshuku and when I saw the appellation minshuku, I was mistaken. You hardly see anyone, a radio in the corridor gives a seaminly trace of life, it's really a ghost hotel. Met no guests... Its situation is also poor and there are no restaurants around, it's dull too... You come back to the hotel and you're totally alone. I really thought it would be different especially for the price I paid. They should also keep some city maps and tourist information as the reception desk is often empty. They also ask the payment in advance and it's the first time I see that.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly welcome. Flat easy walk into main nightspots of Miyazaki. Owner speaks good English and tolerated my poor efforts at Japanese. Huge room. Lovely bathroom space and lovely outdoor wooden bath and shower area. A real hidden gem and recommend if you want an Alternative to to the tiny business hotel room experience. I’ll be staying here again if I come back to Miyazaki. Very good value for money
Cons: No view. Some traffic noise.

Pros: Great Location and spacious room.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Location is perfect
Cons: The room and bathroom are not so clean as other japanese hostels, I saw some little insects and some dirty spots in the bathroom. You cannot rent any towels, so bring your own towel with you. The bed is really hard and not comfortabel, I only could sleep for like 4 hours.

Be aware pool is clised outside of aummwr months.
