Excellent customer service by a staff member named Anthony. He helped us store out luggage the day of departure and ordered us a taxi to go to the airport.

Summary of reviews
Guests say
Guests consistently praise the hotel's excellent location, with many highlighting its proximity to the beach, restaurants, and city attractions. Some guests also appreciate the value for money and comfortable beds. However, there are frequent complaints about poor service, particularly regarding the lack of staff, problematic check-in processes, and communication issues. Cleanliness receives mixed feedback, with some noting clean rooms while others mention unpleasant odors or mold. Overall, the location and price stand out as positives, but service and operational issues detract from the experience.AI-generated from customer reviews

Pros (+) nothing
Cons (-) they can start by cleaning the rooms.. there was needles for drugs left inside of the room .
Cons (-) The concierge was on the phone when the front desk person was away from the front desk. When I asked if there were any beach towels, she didn't stop her conversation as it looked like I was bothering her and just pointed to the front desk. I had to wait for the front desk person to arrive 5 minutes later for a beach towel.
Pros (+) The ONLY good thing is the location
Cons (-) The staff were extremely rude. They didn't have the correct room for us and claimed they have no association with Kayak. We were surprised with a $20 "service fee" which paid for a pathetic breakfast, inadequate wifi and beach towels. The wifi kicked you off every 15 min. The hotel looked like it was falling apart, don't let the pictures fool you. If all you want is a quick access to the beach, th...

Pros (+) The location is perfect spot on south beach. It was quiet from all the street noise
Cons (-) I would have loved a pool. Having the ocean so close made up for it.
Pros (+) Location
Cons (-) Renovation
Pros (+) convenient location
Cons (-) despite some renovations, its a tired hotel, poor quality refurb, rubbish unsecure wifi, a bar thats never open I've stayed here several times over the years and know what to expect from budget hotels in this location, however it is now a very poor hotel, with poor services, a rip off breakfast that they say you have to pay for despite the wifi not working in my room (and its an unsecure wifi) and...

Pros (+) The location was great. Just one block from ocean drive and about 20 min walk from Lincoln Road. The staff was very friendly especially the doorman. He was very attentive and proactive when he noticed we needed beach towels. We would stay again.
Cons (-) Maybe some better quality pillows and a coffee maker in the room.
