Mr Max manager is A smart fellow by face as well as by heart beautiful, soft lips, gentle.
Early check out at10am late check in 2pm gap 4 hours be reduced.
Very near Southern Cross Station which is where Sky Buses from the airport go to. Large enough space to hang around.
Restrooms are in bad shape. Can get too noisy and there’s no noise level policy at all. No elevators and stairs are too narrow if you’re carrying luggage.
The showers were ok, not the cleanest but there was space inside the cubicle to get dressed and a bench and two hooks to hang and store your belongings. The lockers were big enough to store a medium sized suit case but you need to bring your own padlock. It was close to Southern Cross Station - only about a 5 minute walk. Coles supermarket is also close by.
The dorms were not very clean, at least the floor didn't look very clean as it looked dusty and there were bugs. The rooms are not sound proof at all so you can anyone talking in the corridor, doors banging or people walking along the corridor at all hours of the night. I barely slept because of the noise so ear plugs are necessary. There are also very few power sockets (only 4 sockets for a 6 person room). What little sockets there were, it was very far from my bed. The description said "sockets near the bed" but that is not true. My bed/bunk was by the door and the sockets were by the two other bunks on my side of the room. When the two plugs on my side of the room were taken, I had to use the plug on the other side of the room that has a wall separating both sides so I couldn't even see my phone. This meant that I felt my belongings were insecure and I had to get up in the middle of the night everyday to unplug my phone when it finished charging so I could have it with me again. Breakfast was very minimal - toast and some spreads, cereal and tea/coffee etc. You have to wash and dry your own dishes. The kitchen didn't seem very clean. There are no lifts so for people with heavier luggage, that could be an issue. Only limited wifi and it could be slow. Whilst it's close to Southern Cross Station, it was a good 15-20 minute walk to the main part of the CBD although there are lots of trams.
Free toast for breakfast.
Our room was so cold, there was no heater.
staff at reception was nice. great place to meet like-minded travellers.
the place was not as clean as shown in the photos. looks eerie inside. outside the building is where a group of people hangout and smoke pot.
