A very nice family hotel in a quiet village on the Amalfi coast, which we appreciated very much. Good facilities in the hotel - both a swimming pool and a common living room available for relaxation.
The walls were so thin I could here the people next door going through their drawers. There was a smell coming from the bathroom. The only thing that could be said is that they put more money into hiring a photographer because he did wonders on the photos here on booking.com.... it looks nothing like it in real life. The restaurant and bar was so over priced. The breakfast was made up of low quality food and it really showed because it tasted cheap. I really wouldn't recommend this place to anyone to be honest. Stick to sorrento itself cause there is nothing in massa lubrense.
The receptionists were polite. Free parking.
The breakfast was bellow average - very unexpected in a 3* hotel, especially in Italy! Two beds put together should not be advertised as a double-bed. Does not meet hotel standards and is very uncomfortable to sleep for a couple. You have this huge space in between the materasses. The hotel info said that the room would have a view to the sea/garden/pool. Instead we had a view to the huge stone wall. The room photos showed the French balcony, but we had only a small window. The AC temperature is fixed - you cannot customize it. Except from the reception area, all the rest of the facilities looked way worse and older then in the photos.
Everything else, the location is stunning with the best sunsets. Pretty little harbour with traditional restaurants and bar.
The charge for eggs at breakfast
The hotel itself. Fabulous staff, loved Pasquale, Luigi & Salvadore.
Location a bit difficult to get to to at first. Thanks to very helpful staff we learned of shorter pathways to the village & the times of the bus service to our hotel
