very clean, staff very gentle and comfortable, breakfast at the terrace very nice
Very nice and responsive staff. This riad was a nice sanctuary from the chaotic streets.
We had a very spacious room, and it was well located and very quite.
Room and bathroom were very nice. Roof terrace was great. Staff were friendly.
Location is not as good as advertised. In fact Google maps shows the hotel in a much better location. I wonder if that is on purpose.
Ambiance of the hotel was lovely, room was beautiful and well kept, staff were very friendly and helpful. A wonderful place to get away from the hustle and bustle going on outside!
Very peaceful riad, just a short walk from the medina (10 mins). We stayed in winter (Jan) and it was a wonderful place to come back to and have a refreshing beverage after the chaotic souks and the madness of the square. The staff are excellent and will help with anything you require, though it helps to be able to speak french, or at least give it a go. We loved having breakfast on the roof each morning with a big pot of mint tea. We had a meal in the riads dining room one night and it was superb, one of the best of our stay.
The bath is huge but the hot water cylinder for our room was small, showering is difficult as you need to hold the shower rose in one hand (or get someone to hold it for you) as there is no fixed point on the wall - I guess in summer you would be having a cold shower anyway. The room on the street side seemed to suck in smoke from the street through the windows - not much you can do about that, the smoke in Marrakesh is everywhere.
Everything. The staff really wanted you to have a good experience of Marrakesh and made you feel safe and not ripped off (taxi, eating places etc)
Very luxury hotel in cosy atomosphere. My number one recommendation hotel near the souk in Marrakesch.
The staff was very hospitable. It was small and quaint and very comfortable. The rooftop terrace was perfect for relaxing and sipping tea after a day in the city. the Riad is close to the souks and the main square. The rooms were comfortable and had air conditioning and nicely decorated.
There were no amenities in the bathrooms. No shampoo or new bar soaps. There was a guy, (I'm still not sure who he was or if he worked for the hotel or not) that stood around wanting to "help" us with our stay, show us where to find good places to eat and good shopping etc.. Beware of him. He justs wants to make a quick buck off tourists. If it wasn't for him, I would give this Riad a 10.
Room design was nice and staff were friendly.
