The staff were very accommodating and helpful. They tried to adapt to our needs (we were travelling with a wheelchair) and modified our booking to make it easier for us. We organised transportation with them and the driver they booked was kind and highly recommended. The Sherazade is very well located and the breakfast was traditional and good value for money. The inner courtyard is beautiful!
Unfortunately the hotel is not as wheelchair friendly as we had been led to believe but every effort was made by the staff to make out stay as comfortable as possible.
We loved everything at this place and would come here again! The interior is traditional with nice details. Some things could be modernised but overall look and feel is very charming. Our room (nr 23) was cosy and spacy enough for a 4 night stay. The room was quite cool so we used the airco just a few times before sleeping. Very peaceful and quiet place. Great roof top terrace for chilling out or sunbathing. We also liked cute and cool patio on the ground floor with a small fountain and relaxing sound of water. All of the staff (reception, cleaning, kitchen) are doing their best and were very very kind to help us with every request we had. The best breakfast on this trip so far! Plenty of choices for continental breakfast with delicious moroccan additions: pancakes and small breads, olives & olive oil, fabulous orange spread with cinnamon, home made bio jams and honey. Good coffee as well. We also had a delicious dinner here one night. The location is perfect for those who want to be close to a lot of the main sights and still have quite place to rest.
I wish we had a curtain in the shower so the floor could stay dry. But I'm sure the staff would have done their best to help us with that if we had asked during our stay.
We enjoyed everything the hotel had to offer. The terraces were beautiful and the perfume from the plants was Devine. Staff were all fantastic and most helpful.
Lots of narrow steps, however this is a small price to pay for staying in a traditional property’.
Wonderful location, very friendly and helpful staff.
- For Medina visitors, this was a great location - Nice Terrace and interiors - Breakfast was good - Ibrahim at the front desk was really helpful - They arranged our transfers - Options for food
- Wi-fi was available but not to all areas. - Rooms, especially on the ground floor, had no natural light that I can say is logical but that caused the rooms to be very dumped. Α dehumidifier would help in this case. - The rooms because of the Dumbness felt kind of dirty as well.
