Manaus hotels near Saudade Park

Pros: Location was great as was staff. Breakfast and late afternoon tea were varied and quite filling. AC was also very good in room.

Cons: Wi-Fi hard to get in room. Shower hot water was not consistent although I did not mind.

Cons: Our second floor room heavily leaked rain water onto our bed from the smoke detector in the room c xx and in the corridor outside, the water came in under the door and caused a risk of a slipping injury. Our bag got wet for being on the floor. Previous water damage was evident, thus this is an ongoing problem that the owners have not bothered to rectify- in fact the corridor smoke detector was previously removed to allow the water through, therefore the fire alarm system (life safety equipment) would not be functioning. No apology or discount was asked or offered.

Pros: Great staff and great location.

Pros: The facility has a very nice staff. Always smiling, always helpful and positive. I am a vegetarian. During the breakfast, the staff just realized that I am vegetarian and they immediately took action and prepared a nice dish for me. Thanks. The hotel is just 50 steps further than the main city square where the opera house is.

Cons: maybe given to the general Manaus climate conditions, my room was a bit humid. this can be overcomed by the AC. The restroom was a bit small, however, quite OK for taking a warm shower.

Pros: Apart from excellent location, I especially loved the room - spacious and with a huuuge bed, also there was a decent desk for work. Downstairs the restaurant (where the breakfast is) feels really cozy and seems very popular.

Pros: The hospitality of the front desk and dining staff was unmatched. I felt pampered and right at home. The beds were the softest id been on.

Cons: Facilities were a little outdated but they were well-maintained.

Pros: Very central, just 1-2minutes to the Teatro Amazonas, perfect to go everywhere on foot. The room was big and very clean. Friendly and helpful staff

Cons: The Internet doens‘t work im the rooms, only in the corridor, and it was very unstable anyway -pretty annoying. Our air condition machine dropped from water, the safe didn‘t work and it seems that they have only one hair dryer for all the rooms.. Nonetheless the staff was very helpful. It is a good hotel abd seems to have been that for the last about 40years, but a little bit of modernity would be nice

Pros: 1. Room - very big! It is like an apartment, with a living room, dining table, a small kitchen 2. Location - very near a petrol station, able to buy mineral water and cup noodles

Cons: 1. Toiletries - small bottle of shampoo and conditioner, and 2 small pieces of soap. No toothbrush and toothpaste provided. Lucky i had bought my own 2. Breakfast - simple and same for everyday

Pros: Manaus is often a transition city into the Amazon so the city itself has little to offer. This hotel offers many amenities to spend your time during transition. Restaurant offers a good menu. Convenient laundry facilities.

Pros: The location was perfect. Lots of shopping, food options and the Marina is close by for the river tours. The staff was friendly and helpful. We absolutely loved that we could check in half a day early for a small fee.

Cons: try to avoid room 1023, in front to the window is located the needle compression AC of the neighboring room, not room 1023 !!!!!! noise and trepidation, nowhere did I see anything so you can barely make noise!

Pros: The location is very good and very near the main attractions such as the Teatro. We stayed at this location on New Years Eve. The receptionist was very friendly, good English speaking and helped with our questions. The hotel price is very good considering the price that we paid...the facilities where great, especially after spending a couple of days in the jungle!

Pros: Location was good - relatively close to Theatro Amazonas. There’s a manic shopping street nearby which can be a little overwhelming. Overall, the hotel does the job of hosting travellers before or after their jungle experience. The reception is pretty dated and they have a small lift. Does the job!

Cons: No hot water. This seems to be the case in most hotels in Manaus but there is no hot water, yet the shower gives a false illusion of this by having two shower knobs.

Pros: Breakfast is very good! The suite is big and comfortable.

Pros: The Crew is kind, the bedrooms are large and confortable, the restaurant is open for breakfast, Lunch and dinner. The hotel is close to the Amazon Theater Opera house and a good starting point to several attraction in Manaus.

Pros: The staff are fluent in English. Every one is very polite and trying to help even though we don't speak the same language. It was a misunderstood aboot the beds so they organised everything in minutes.

Cons: The hotel needs a good renovation.The furnitures, lift and the dinnig area are so old.. I asked for hot water and always received luke warm water. They must put a sign up not to use the cellphones in the dinnig area.

Pros: The staff! The most helpful, kind and humble staff I ever met. Easy to get in and out of the hotel. East access for Uber or any type of transportation. Just a couple of blocks from historic attractions and a walk distance to the city public market down at the river front.

Cons: I wish I had more time to explore Manaus

Pros: This hotel is two blocks from the Amazon Theater, which is a great location. The rooms are both a good size and in decent condition. I slept well every night there and I liked the breakfast; there was plenty of variety for me. There is also parking available in a below-ground garage, which was a lifesaver for me. The staff was very courteous and helpful.

Cons: The Wifi in the room came and went. Moving closer to the hall (in the bathroom or right by the door) helped. The signal was always strong in the lobby. The elevators were very reliable and prompt, but I am tall so felt a bit closed in (the ceiling was maybe 2" above my head). That there is no indication of the elevator's progress (which floor you are passing) added to that feeling.

Pros: Location, price, clean.

Cons: A very rude member of staff, who needs to work on his manners and his English language. He didn't understand the booking.com website even though I translated it for him. If you work with booking.com and accept foreigners then learn to understand the very thing that makes you money. Very rude and a sad ending to what has been a nice stay with you for maybe the 3rd or 4th time during the last couple of years. But I won't be returning because I earn my money to stay in these places and I don't expect to argue with people who believe I'm lying because they don't understand a worldwide booking providers website.

Pros: Basically everything was good with Hotel do Largos Manaus. Location is excellent, just 5 min walk to the famous opera house Teatro Amazonas. It is also very reasonably priced. There is a restaurant downstairs for breakfasts and lunches.

Cons: However, Internet in my third floor room was not good enough (slow, frequent disruptions). It was better on the ground floor near reception. If You want to communicate a lot in the evenings in social networks and upload a lot of pictures and videos than this hotel might be not for You.

Pros: We were given an accessibility room which was very spacious, however the hot water was not working. We didn’t complain since it was hot. The room was clean and the breakfast was the biggest that we experienced across Brazil. The location isn’t bad, however we were there on Christmas day, and practically all Manaus was closed, including bars, and restaurants.

Cons: The staff although nice and try to be helpful, do not even understand basic english. All communication was done via google translation. However They also managed to communicate with us, a message sent by a tour leader that we have booked with, so the effort is there.

Pros: Breakfast was ok, nothing very special. The location right in the city center was not good for arriving late in the evening.

Cons: The room wasn't clean when I arrived. The bathroom was dirty with hair and soap leftovers.
