location and friendly staff
Nice quiet location but only a few minutes from the main city streets.
Easy to find and in an excellent location. Very friendly, efficient staff particularly Raul on check in. I had a superb top floor room that was bright, sunny and very comfortable with a big bathroom. The hotel is small so it feels like a boutique-style property. There are lots of eateries nearby which is a great bonus. Also, 15 minutes walk to the metro at Alonso Martinez for a direct metro to the Bernabéu for the game. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay here again as it’s an ideal location.
The only negative was the room safe wasn’t working.
Great location! Simple hotel
Small windows, maybe a bit of maintenance needed
The location was great- in walking distance to many options for dining, drinking, shopping, Metro, etc. Room was clean.
The room was small. Temperature could not be adjusted with thermostat - it was very warm. When we called the front desk, we were told we could not adjust it, and that we could just open the balcony door to allow cool air to come in. Not exactly ideal since temps at night fluctuated and while the cool air felt good initially, it easily could get drafty/too cold, which required getting up in middle of night to close door... making it again too hot in the room. Open door also meant allowing outside noise and smells (garbage trucks, traffic, people, and cigarette smoke) from street below to come in. Twin-sized mattresses were short, thin/hard, so while it was okay for me, it was not so comfortable for my husband whose height caused his feet to extend past the end of the bed. Lastly, front desk staff was not the most friendly for reception and customer service. And they did not seem very welcoming. I read a previous response from management stating that they had new staff that was possibly in training- but, a welcoming smile from staff can go a long way. We stayed there for four nights, and the only time we felt like we got any friendly service was when we were checking out.
