Old, tired hotel
Wifi worked and bathroom was large.
Old and tired building in general - looks like they've tried to update some things in the room, but overall the rooms require a lot more work. The beds were terrible - old and you could see the sagging in the middle and feel the springs and I found hairs on the sheets. My boyfriend and I ended up getting a room with 2 single beds - they were booked up and couldn't help us in that area. All the tiles were cracked, walls were stained and the walls were so thin you could here the people in rooms around you during the night as well as the air con. The photos on the website were deceiving as they showed their updated rooms, while from the looks of things, most rooms hadn't been updated to that standard yet. I would personally pay more to be in a more comfortable environment. The plus was the wifi was good.
The apartment was spacious. It is situated close to tourist routes for the on /off bus and close enough to walk into the heart of the shopping areas.
The staff were very difficult to communicate with, so very little english, and not very friendly or helpful, with our very little Spanish. Bad directions, completely wrong in fact, and trying to get any thing, like toilet paper and enough towels (for just 2 people ) was really difficult! Then there was the night club situated right below us, playing thumping music till 5am. Apartment was so old and rundown, broken tiles on the stairs inside, that kept falling away to expose a sharp edge you could cut your self on, and the beds must have been 20 years old.
Good value for money in a central location. Bottled water available in lobby vending machine. Air-conditioning (though barely enough at full strength). Cafe/bar in lobby which I did not use but have heard is good.
The twin-bedded room was fine for one person, at least for one night, but if there had been two people in the room it would have been very cramped--the second bed was the only place to put luggage. There was much less furniture than in the pictures on the booking.com website, and it was quite beat-up. Bathroom was ill-designed and cramped. Breakfast was put away and door closed ten minutes before the advertised time. Payment was demanded on arrival--it is usual, and preferable, to pay on departure.
Location is good only.
The furniture, bathroom and kitchenette are totaly worn out, breakfast restaurant is very small and food is poor. So the hotelneeds serious renovation. I never go there again and never recommend any other person.
