Was so minor that is not worth mentioning
Our friends that we see once in every 5 years had their reservation cancelled 30 minutes before arriving at the hotel. And since the hotel closes from 12h to 15h30 it was very difficult to talk with them and when they managed they learned that there were no rooms left. Crazy! Ok there was maybe a problem with the card (only in this hotel) but someone really failed (the hotel or booking, we’ll never know) because you can’t tell someone you cancel their room and rent it in the following 30 minutes. It really sounded like overbooking. The lady from the hotel was nice and understanding but she didn’t have any power. The hotel policy is weird because they seem to be like a family thing, but the methods are those of capitalistic corporations : cancel the reservation and no phone call nor email, only 30 minutes before. Really disappointing. But maybe it’s just booking. Anyway, won’t be back at this hotel and will probably avoid using booking since they didn’t help in anything...
Liked the location and easy access
Only met staff when checking out
I liked the view from our room, its cleanliness, the central location and the fact that it was an unpretentious and very cosy place with friendly staff in the breakfast cafe.
I would have preferred if there was a safe in the room.
The hotel was wonderful - really quirky and fun with all sorts of scooters and 70s memorabilia around. The room was really stylish and looked out right over the cathedral. We didn't have breakfast but it looked nice. A fantastic, memorable place in a great location for visiting the city.
We had a car with us. There was parking nearby but it was very expensive. We were there from 4pm-11am and it cost us nearly 20 euros and it would have gone up far more if we'd stayed longer in the day as it was 65 cents per 15 minutes! If you have a car perhaps find an out of town place to park and head in on foot/bus.
