Very friendly and helpful staff Very well located
Rooms a little small and a little noisy/ not very sound-insulated.
Cute with nice courtyard. Would return...
The hotel is incredibly charming. There are reminders from a by-gone era everywhere. It was comfortable, clean, quiet, and central. An added bonus was the staff, they were fabulous!
The credit card hold meant a double payment for about three weeks. I’ve never had this anywhere in the world before. The room was also incredibly expensive for what it was.
Nice people, good location, interesting building. Good breakfast. Excellent fish restaurant right across the road. Close to Foch metro station.
Thin walls meant you could hear next door clearly. Bathroom was a little cramped.
The bed was really good. Staff was very kind, helpful and cheery. Location is good, short walk to Metro. Those are the plus sides of this hotel. Granted, we had basic room, but I would still expect with the price (82€ per night) more than outback motel feeling. More on "what didn't you like". Nearby restaurant B Blue made our day on arrival! Good tip from the person checking us in, thank you for that!
Room was unheated when we arrived. Luckily it was not colder than +10 outside, so it only took some hours to heat it up. Also the floor was very dirty. Hair and dirt. Bathroom is otherwise okay, but would need better air float. Door to bathroom did not close properly. Air at the room was very stuffy at morning, one had to open the windows to get some fresh air. 2 nights was too much here. We did not feel like coming back to hotel during the day to have rest. Rather stayed out. Room was small, but that's not really an issue since we did book basic room. Noise from the corridor and from other rooms on the other hand was an issue, even with earplugs it was very loud. Maybe other rooms are better. We did not try breakfast.
