The dining room is beautiful and the staff so kind, nothing is too much and always happy to help. As it was my husband’s birthday, they gave us a tasty cake in our room.
My husband would have liked his plate with the full English breakfast to be hot. And it would have been nice to have a separate shower cabinet as it is difficult for older people to climb into the bath.
Both breakfast and location were excellent.
The bad attitude of our sommelier at dinner. He was completely indifferent and needs a refresher course of what his duties entail which is a little more than dropping the wine list on the table and disappearing.
The whole experience, from arriving to leaving was fabulous. The staff were curtious and polite, they could not do enough for us, even down to the doorman, who, because the roads were closed, walked with us, hundreds of yards, just to find us a taxi. WOW, I would definately stay here again.
Nothing, the place was fabulous.
Beds were comfy
Staff are crazy. The waiter said it was a lovely day outside not too hot not too cold while it was literally raining outside. I asked him again are you sure it’s not raining as I looked out my hotel room and he said no it’s not raining. Another woman asked me to remove my $1000 louboutin black smart casual shoes as they weren’t up to their dress code for the rivoli bar (even though smart casual is what their website states)and instead was given a cheap pair of fake leather dress shoes. When I went in the bar their were two kids with white sneakers and an Asian gentleman with Toms style sneakers and another man wearing boat shoes with no socks on.
The staff is unfailingly polite, courteous and efficient. From entry to exit there never was a lapse in exceptional service and comfort.
I loved it all. All the nuances of comfort have been anticipated. Efficiency is unequalled.
