A variety of choices. Nice staff.
No lift and lockers
Breakfast was self-service, good, except there wasn't any marmalade. (Surely there must be a law that all British breakfasts must have the option of marmalade?!) We really enjoyed the music, arrived to Elvis in the afternoon, enjoyed reggae in the evening and some delightful classical music at breakfast.
No marmalade. Toaster took ages, had to queue and then wait for it to toast the bread v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y.
Very close to central London. Meals were very good and cheap
The location is excellent, a few minutes walk from London Eye and Westminster etc and opposite Lambeth North tube station.
The bedroom was spartan, the most uncomfortable bed and mattress, one loo shared between a lot of people so a lot of waiting, no TV or other such facilities which these days is expected, especially when paying £110 per night!
The staff were very friendly and complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits could be ordered when the bar was open.
No lifts to get up two flights of narrow stairs. Bathroom facilities were small.
