Opulent design, furnishings and lay-out. Food was outstanding. Large rooms, wide corridors, sitting areas and library scattered about. Well insulated rooms Suspiciously cheap room rate.
Air con defaults to 26 when you go out- not good if you prefer a cool room. Repairs and general attitude towards maintenance seem to be poor. Reminds me of a lovely stately property where the owners are struggling to Maintain all the extras it has. Pool didn’t work, sauna didn’t work, lift didn’t work. Carpet had iron burn, cracked toilet with ceramic repaired badly.
The view was bang on
From the minute we entered the hotel it’s glamorous decor to polite smiley staff fantastic views Great location we knew we’d made the right choice because it was a big celebration for my 50th birthday We have stayed in many hotels in London and the Rafayel Hotel & Spa is definitely worth a visit The shuttle service was fantastic nothing seemed too much for anything we asked for We used ALL the facilities from spa/sauna, food, drinks and everything was 5star Our room was spacious clean & welcoming with a great view and the hotel owner made it his job to introduce himself to us which is very rare and usually unheard of That just leaves us to say we totally recommend this hotel and we WILL be back
I didn't like being on the ground floor. Some guidance on the different lighting options would have been helpful.
