The staff are nice and the breakfast was good it has nearby street parking free overnight from 6pm through to 8 am the next day. The staff were able to give us directions to local parking and places to eat.
When i booked they didn't tell me it was a room with no windows, however they upgraded me to one with. its an old building with many repairs that need doing for the money i should have stayed in a premier lodge it would have been a lot cleaner and more up to date.
The location was good, there's a bus stop close by which takes you to angel tube station. There's a sainsbury's very close by so you can easily buy snacks. It's cheap compared with other hotels in the area, but it was beyond basic.
The room was very small. I was upgraded from a budget single to a twin, but there was barely room to move around the beds. There was no desk or place to put my suitcase. I don't know how 2 people would have fit! It was noisy and there was no sound protection so you could hear everything in the surrounding rooms, bathrooms and corridor. The breakfast was very basic and served far too late at 8am. Another guest must have been smoking weed in his room because the smell was horrendous and the smoke was all in the corridor, which added to the unpleasantness. The shower was tiny and I could barely squeeze into it. The mattress was hard and uneven and clearly needed replacing. There were stains on the carpet, a big dent in the bathroom door that looked like someone had punched it and all the furniture and fittings were very tired. It is more like a 2 star hotel, and shouldn't be a 3 star hotel in my opinion.
Second time here. The first time I paid almost the half for a much better room. That's why I gave 5 stars. This time I had smaller room, freezing cold. I wouldn't stay again for what I paid. Some of the people at the lobby is not so friendly.
Situation in the city is great!
Tge property is very worn, my single room was a cupboard. But, is foes what is says on the tin.
The lady who handeled the food was cool
Don't stay here if you're a single girl traveling. The door barely has a lock and the room was freezing. It looked nothing like the photo they put me in the basement. I ended up not even staying here and switching hotels it made me feel so uncomfortable.
