The beds were comfortable and the bedroom was clean, checking in and out was simple and easy. For London, it was a good price in a location that was close to the Tube, a grocery store, and some fast food/restaurants.
It was good we (husband and 2 young children) traveled with backpacks because of the fire door on the landing. We never would have been able to enter our room with a medium suitcase because the angle of the door off the landing - it partially opened into a small hallway which had a couple of room doors. It was difficult just with the backpacks! We had to enter one person at a time through the first door which couldn't even open all of the way, wait for the person to enter the room through the second door before the next person could come through the first door from the landing. VERY awkward and required a lot of amazing arm-bends and scooting, even for my 40 pound (20kg) 10-year-old. The bathroom was clean, except for the shower that the cleaner obviously forgot to empty the hair out of or empty the trash can. The hair dryer didn't work. The next day when we returned from an outing the whole room stunk with fumes from paintwork that had been done in the corridor and the only thing we could do was open the window. Good thing it was not extremely cold outside, as we traveled in March, but it was still roughly 8C /rain which made the room feel quite cool and limited how long we could leave it open. It was either cold with fresh air or fumes. When we told the employee the next morning he merely shrugged. Overall, it wasn't a horrible experience, but I don't think we would stay here again.
Very clean and friendly staff.
The bed was comfortable and the hotel very quiet.
Nothing it was all good
For a budget hotel, I’ve always found it to be super clean even before the CV19 scare It’s well kept, not grubby and all the staff take pride in working there. This is excellent value for money & the up keep of the hotel & hospitality in this establishment can only be described superb
