I couldn't tell There's nothing wrong Really
The room and facilities were clean. Breakfast was phenomenal and for a 1£ donation for charity. They had a variety of foods and milks with papers regarding allergies and what is safe to eat and drink for some people. They allowed us to use free lockers that were big, inside the room and in the lobby. Overall, we had a nice stay. According to the signs, we think the hostel seems to be looking for constant improvement, therefore, we thought this review would be of help.
The property was under construction during our stay, which we understand happens. The fire alarm went off one night around 4 am but with no explanation as to why. We sat down to have breakfast around 945 and immediately at 10 were asked to leave, very impolitely. In particular, one of the workers was rude and unpresentable during many moments. We always greeted him and asked how he was, but he never responded. He also seemed to be hungover or drinking all of the time. The room was very hot, even with the window open. A fan was provided for the 6 of us, however, due to the large amount of people, the air circulation for everyone was low.
The Hostel is next to the Hyde Park and underground and bus stations, also shops and bars/ restaurants are near by. The stuff is very friendly and there were even vegan options for breakfast. Also our room had a window which you could open widely.
The usb charge station at my bed didn’t worked.
It is a very friendly and well run hostel. I've stayed here a few times now and have never been disappointed. The location is fantastic to get to Central London and Hyde Park is just a stones throw away.
The room got quite stuffy when it was really hot in London.
