The location was good and our room had been recently refurbished so was nicely decorated and furnished. We asked for a “quad” which was actually a double with 2 camp beds but our kids are quite young so they weren’t fussed! Bed comfy and bathroom clean. Free breakfast; basic cereal, bread rolls, croissants, tea, coffee and juice but ok. We could leave our bags there earlier than check-in time.
The floor under the camp beds was covered in nuts so obviously not cleaned there (we had to shift the beds about). The water pressure in the shower and sink was almost non existent and water only just above body temperature so no chance of a decent shower which is disappointing after travelling and a day in London. There was scaffolding up and clearly work being undertaken which we were not forewarned about although no work disturbed us in the morning.
Did not like anything about the property. The location was close to London metro.
The property is currently under renovation and should be closed until renovations are completed. It was very hot in London and the front desk clerk was rude and told us not to drink water in the room because we might spill it on the carpet. If I ever have an opportunity to visit London again I will stay anywhere but here!
The room was clean even tho bathroom was very small
The guy on reception in the evening said we couldn't pay by card as he said card machine wasn't working so we asked if we could pay in morning when we check out and he said no we needed to pay now so we had to go back out to the cash point in an area we didn't know and get cash.we asked him for a receipt and he said he couldn't get into the office as it was locked and we would get 1 in the morning which we didn't receive, breakfast was very poor, won't be going back
Everything was perfect n staff was nice n valauble for money.
My review: Just the shower was slow but still worked so it did the job still.
The location is awesome and the staff was very nice.
Bare bones, with not even an extra glass at reception. The hotel is undergoing an upgrade so there is quite a mess and lots of dust. Breakfast was below expectations
