It is in good walking distance of Liverpool city centre without being too noisy.
Not very accommodating. Requested in advance an adjoining room or 2 rooms next to one another, but on the same floor was ‘the best they could do’. Was on the top floor. Noise from air conditioning units in both rooms was unbearable as well as presumably the water tanks which feed the hotel screaming all night every time someone turned a tap on. No sleep to be had. Torture. Rooms desperate for a revamp. For the money we paid, I expected much better. Leatherette headboards on beds scratched and peeling off, scuffs and dents in walls and paintwork, really old duvets and mattress protectors (material balled and bitty), stained chair upholstery (quite disgusting). Shower is ridiculous. Overhead rain head or hand held spray set at waist height. What if you don’t want to get your hair wet? Tea facilities are in a wardrobe but have to be moved out onto the one small surface provided to plug it in. Poorly thought out room designs considering these were ‘superior doubles’. Would have done better spending money in quality room than providing by free pop and crisps. Will look elsewhere when in Liverpool again.
All we needed. Very comfortable bed. Great location. Free snacks in mini-bar a nice touch.
Everything, was an all round great hotel.
The views weren’t that great but I imagine there is rooms with good views
room was not how it showed on picture
We liked the location and the decor in the room was nice. Also, it was great that we had sky tv in our room so we could watch the Liverpool match at 5.30 p.m.
Room was comfortable but a bit cold. Also, we paid for a breakfast the next morning and we had to keep asking staff . They came over with tea and coffee but then did not come back to take our breakfast order. Also, once we ordered breakfast it took over 20 mins wait and we had to ask again where is the breakfast. For £12.00 we did not feel this was value for money. Bacon not cooked properly, one little sausage and a very small pot of beans. If we do stay here again, we will not eat in the restaurant.
