Grotty hotel who placed us on a room over a large wedding function. When complaining on the morning after our first night, the manager seemed perplexed when I said it's common sense to put the wedding guests in the rooms adjoining the large venue with music blaring all night. Night porter constantly lied as to when the music would be stopped for the night. After a few home truths about the state of the room and the carelessly of management sorting room locations the manager apologised and offered a refund for the second night where we left and booked a hotel elsewhere. After 2 weeks and the refund not recieved we escalated the complaint to booking.com where we found out no refund was processed at all. Basically the manager lied to avoid facing her responsibilities. Shameful behaviour and what chance does a hotel have when it's management skills are as bad as the filthy rooms. The whole experience was terrible and I'd ask anyone booking this hotel to think twice.
Huge car park
Cold room no heating radiator taps missing
Room was warm, bed was comfy, bathroom was clean and a good selection for breakfast. Ample parking facilities !
A bit more welcoming on arrival, a constant knocking noise all night long and some of the breakfast choice was not very hot . Outside of the hotel requires a lick of paint and reception area needs to be made more cosy and inviting.
would need updating inside and out
Good for the price you are paying. Really nice english style breakfast.
Bed and mattress not in the best conditions.
