The location is realy nice for this price, actually it's not bad area around, many times we went to hotel late, the breakfast was rather good, but during our reservation it was said, that breakfast is included, but really it was't and we paid for every day.
The room was comfortable and the AC worked well.
First, they charge us for the rooms before we even get there. The swimming pool shouldn't be called that, it's more like a tank. It was impossible to go for a swim! The rooms weren't very clean, we even found some suspicious hairs in the tub. Also, every thing looked very old and out of date, the hotel should be restored. Finally, although we booked a triple room, they just put us in a double room with a small extra bed, which was so small that even my dog would have a problem sleeping. I'm definitely not staying there again, for the money we pay we felt like we could stayed in a much better place!
the hotel was in a good locationa nd easy walking distance to the barrio alto
We picked this hotel for the outdoor pool, we could have stayed more central with out a pool for cheaper. The pool was very disappointing, looked nothing like the photos, was a crappy and dirty above ground kiddies pool.
Staff were helpful, friendly and tolerant of 18 English lads
The fact that we were charged for 2 team members who couldn't make it to Lisbon due to the volcano eruption in Iceland and resulting flight cancellations.
Reasonably priced for the location.
Desperately needs refurbishing and hands-on management; some staff are friendly, others not; shabby furniture, rooms bordering on the uncomfortably outdated and obsolete. Has potential but needs a lot of attention. Until then, I would not recommend the hotel unless their reasonable room rates were the only criterion.
the kindness of your staff; the terrace of my room (813) except this ugly and dirty plastic furniture, the location of the hôtel
give to the hôtel a little update (not too much) keeping it's 50ties caracter; above all rebuild the swimming pool, assuring a real daily maintenance (cleaning, opening, arranging chairs...) from 8 o'clock which is not actually the case
The Helpful staff
