Great location near the Grote Markt, good breakfast, clean and cozy room, and Carmen was extremely helpful with sightseeing tips and making sure our stay was comfortable.
Good location, short walking distance to the old town. Breakfast was ok, coffee poor though. Parking place available.
I admit Belgium isn't a cheap country but value/price ratio for this location wasn't attractive.
The location is very good, close to the historical center, but in a quiet area.
The breakfast was varied, sufficient and very tasty. It filled us up for the morning! And the location was so handy to visit the town centre and other sites. being able to park the car securely was important.
We hadn't booked longer!
We liked this guest house, a lot. It is in the historic centre and close to many tourist sites. When on holiday we prefer to stay in locally owned hotels rather than the big chains, and this hotel reinforced our decision. On arrival we greeted by Carmen, the owner, a lovely and charming woman. She carried our bags to our room on the second floor, despite our protestations to try and help her. My partner stayed in our room, but I had a cigarette with her in her charming garden. I felt I was talking to an old friend whom I had not met for many years. My husband also thought she was very charming, We stayed in the Isiah Room on the second floor. Both the room and bathroom were large, but watch your head on some of the beams. The bed was king sized with pleasant good linen. We felt the design of the room was fun, and it was very clean. Wi-Fi was fast, and the TV had many channels in different languages. When we stayed, Leuven was experiencing high temperatures, our room was hot but a fan is provided which helped. One tip, when in the bathroom, draw the window curtains. My partner enjoyed his breakfast, with plenty of local ingredients to choose from. On leaving we were given a hug by Carmen. If we are ever in Leuven we will come back, I suggest you need to forget the chain hotels and come here.
