Overview

Just 800 metres or little over a 5-minute walk south of Leipzig's city centre, this family-run hotel offers great access to public transport and to the Leipziger Messe exhibition grounds. Hotel-Restaurant via City Leipzig Mitte is housed in a historic building dating back to 1900. It offers modern rooms and apartments with a flat-screen TV offering cable and (Sky) satellite channels, WiFi access, a work desk and a stylish en suite bathroom. At the beginning of 2013, all the rooms and staircases were completely renovated and refurbished with new furniture (there is no lift/elevator). The hotel is located on Karl-Liebknecht-Strasse, which is a business, restaurant, art and entertainment district. Here you will find many traditional bars and cultural attractions. The nearby Clara-Zetkin park is also a great place to relax.

Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests consistently praised the hotel's central location, making it easy to access restaurants, bars, and public transportation. The staff was frequently described as friendly and helpful, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Many guests enjoyed the breakfast and appreciated the spacious rooms. However, noise from the street and tram was a common complaint, especially for rooms facing the main road. Some guests also noted the absence of an elevator and occasional maintenance issues, but overall, the positives outweighed the negatives for most visitors.
