The price and location.
There is definitely a decline in the Rio. The furnishings in the rooms are looking shabby. The carpet stinks. There is a musty smell in the casino, affecting my respiratory system. Is Caesars letting it go from their group of hotels? Not what we expected.
Check in at kiosk was convenient and checked in early.
This is really a worn out hotel and allot of maintenance in the rooms needs to be done.
Not too crowded
Staff was a bit short on the table games and the rooms dated
The double queen room is really big with large bathroom and sleeper sofa. Everything is clean and comfortable. I like the self check in kiosk which saved so much time. After all I would go back to this hotel in the future. The location a 20 mins walk to the strips via busy freeway, but there is a dedicated walking bridge above it. However, it’s quite trashy and noisy. It is not the hotel’s fault of course.
The line to check in.
