ExcellentSep 20198.8
Loved hotel, amenities and staff. Enjoyed seeing the new Conservatory being put in. It was beautiful even partly built. Would stay there again, but not in the room we were given.
The room was very old and ugly, olive, mustard and orange and overlooked the Vegas freeways. It must have been the original decor. The rug wasn't vacuumed well. Towels were old and worn. Was supposed to be a king, but they didn't have any left when we arrived. Have stayed in some beautiful rooms around the world, but this wasn't one of them. Room very disappointing. Rest of hotel (except the smell of cigarettes which we are not used to) was lovely. Need to put in something other than very expensive, designer stores. This is the first trip I've taken where I didn't buy one thing. We are not poor, but don't shop in Fendi, Prada, and the like. Neither did 95% of the people in the hotel by the looks of the empty shops.

The room was great (strip view king in the spa tower) - clean, spacious, with a very comfortable bed.
Be warned that everything is expensive and if you want more reasonably priced food and drinks head towards old Vegas.
