The space of the room was the perfect amount for a single person, the projector in my room, the friendly staff.
The ventilation of the room, the aircon was very low and did not come out much, it was hot on the floor, whispering.
Shower is the best
No ice water available
Good amount of showers / bathroom stalls, not waiting in line in the morning. Cool if you wanna hang out with the crowd that spends more time editing instagram pictures than actually walking the city.
-Not functional at all. -Minimal ventilation in the shower stalls, not finished drying yourself you’re already sweaty -Minimal ventilation in the rooms, too hot to get under the sheets -Bed is too long for cubicle, makes curtain pop out of tracks yet is barely long enough for a 6’ tall person -No space to get dressed in the capsule -Technology was futile, how can you toggle the lights with ipods yet don’t even accept apple pay. Gaudy Gadget. -Sleeping floor security is bad; electronic doors stay open 1 and 1/2 minute after you leave, granting access to anyone basically -Bathroom cleanliness was lackluster -Nickel and dime you with the pajamas for rent and the pricy laundry -Staff is snob
The location is fantastic! Many restaurants and shops are close. The capsules are very private considering its a hostel. Great value!
Stayed in a few capsule hotels in Japan and this is by far the best. Great location (bus routes opposite that go everywhere you need). Cool room concept with the iPod and monitor, gave the place a modern feel. Great common area for work and socialising.
Not enough space in the cubicle to change if you’re tall
