The staff is awesome, they gave me a lot of advice to have good stay in Kyoto. The bath was so relaxing after a long day of walking.
The room was very traditional and very very comfortable ! We had a very good night sleep !!
Maybe the room was not well isolated. It was cold outside and hot inside so it felt a little bit humid.
Wow! This was a 5 star experience. Don’t be fooled by the LOW price point, it is a high quality experience. The staff went above and beyond to take care of us. We had the best night stay with cozy beds and a beautiful garden view. This was one of the best nights for us in Japan. We loved it!
Cosy atmosphere, nice staff and cool house.
It's a little bit far from downtown ( but there are several buses to take you there)
it's located in peaceful neighborhood and designed to resemble old traditional Japanese houses
I found few long black hairs on my bad and on the floor. Also our room was with garden and shared toilet. Unfortunately toilet ventilation and gas boiler for shower goes in this garden so you smell all of this if the door to your garden is open. Totally do not recommend to book this garden room if you plan to open a door to this garden the smell from toilet and gas boiler isn't pleasant. Rooms are quite nosy. You can hear others watching youtube or talking. In addition the biggest problem is to check in or keep your luggage, hotel is small and reception works occasionally not on exact hours.
