I loved the home-style feeling of the property, it felt very personal and like I was experiencing local life by staying here, including sleeping on a futon in a tatami room. The location in the eastern hills of Kyoto is perfect for exploring as its very near many famous temples and the view from the sunroof overlooking Kyoto at sunset was breathtaking. The host is amazing, he really takes care of his property and his guests, providing great recommendations in the local area and ensuring guests are happy. A very hearty home-cooked Japanese style breakfast was included.
No complaints - all was great.

The place is so beautiful and cozy. Also the location is very convenient. The staff went above and beyond with the service and friendliness. I loved this place and if I go back to Kyoto I’m definitely going back there!
