Pros: The staff were lovely and the beds were comfortable.
Cons: Our first room smelt damp. It was intoxicating. We then were shown 2 others, both worse than the first. They offered to fix it with a dehumidifier and some glade spray. I refused to accept given I have severe allergies to mould and felt like I couldn’t breathe. The manager was lovely and upgraded us to a suite with a balcony which was much fresher. The staff are amazing. Our room was lovely in the end but I would recommend a room with a balcony as the others are way too damp especially for people with asthma and allergies. The rooftop pool made us itchy and get rashes so we only used it once.

Pros: we had problem with our credit card and the staff was kind enough to allow us to let us to check in while our friend is doing bank transfer from our origin country since we didn't have enough cash (USD3,200). The money went through hotel account just a day before we're checking out. the staff was very helpful.

Cons: Cups in our room were very small but in our second room were a good size. Hard to get more than than three mouthfuls out of ours so hard to enjoy a nice tea at the end of the day.

Pros: We've stayed here before, it was awesome. clean. modern. I love the 2 pools (rooftop and ground floor). The location is within walking distance to the beach, and the traffic is not as bad as central Kuta (but it's not free of traffic either). There's an alfamart (convenience store) nearby to buy water/snacks. I'm happy, I'd stay here again, if the price is right.

Clean room, good size rooms, strategic location in legian area, kind staffs. overall, the hotel was very nice. Would recommend to others and will go back again in the near future. Cons: We came during the holiday season (Christmas / New Year), so the prices were astronomical. Also, we had dinner at the hotel restaurant downstairs. It was open-air, so it was very hot. they served BBQ but I think the meat was a bit under-cooked.

Cons: I found the air conditioning varied from room to room. We moved rooms during our stay as the aircon didn’t work well in my daughters room then when we moved it didn’t work very well in mine, it works just not really cold.

Pros: For the staff, we very appreciate their behaviour. Always smiling. Best french fries we ate since a long time even in France. The SPA is the best we had during our stay, we did 8 SPA. But also a bit too expensive. In general the room is nice, the bathroom is big enough. The AC works perfectly, the bed and pillows are very good. the private courtyard is very nice and well decorated.

Our superior family room did the job but the superior queen room other members of our family had was really nicely renovated and lovely! Breakfast was nice also. Location was great. Cons: We select this hotel for its ratings.To have a nice stay we selected a middle price hotel and a not the first price room. Our room (with private courtyard) looks like a 10 years old room not refreshed. Only entering inside the room the first impression is that it is a OLD fashion and not a 4* as on the web. This was our last hotel after 2 weeks in Bali so for the value/price we can compare and it is too expensive. For the same price you can have better rooms.

Cons: My initial room was a ground floor room 2 single beds which had a damp stale smell. I requested a double bed and they said no problem however on return that evening the management forgot - Next day I asked to move up one level to a double bed (which they organized no problem ) and to my delight the room was wonderful and comfortable.

The pool area is in need of re-modernization cushion covers / mattresses faded and torn Furniture all worn and broken Decking faded and needs replacing some slats have screws missing so slat is raised up Pool went green we reported it even though pool maintenance men came and took samples they said it would be treated over night But there is no info on the pool if they are treating it do not use etc needs to be more information as everyone was still using the pool. We didn’t use it for two days until it was back to normal use. Shame as it’s ideal for sunset and watching the surfers Hotel is overpriced as needs update at the pool area

She got easy access to the pool, spent 2-hour every day with other kids in the pool. The room was clean and the bed is big. The staffs there are all friendly. We had everything needed with good price. You can walk to kuta beach in 10 mins, or book hotel shuttle bus at designated time. If you feel hot, don’t want to walk, take a grab car @ 20k rp. My daughter didn’t want to leave at our last day, I promised her we would definitely come back.

Pros: The villa was huge, the bathroom was amazing, the 2 aircons kept the room perfect after a hot day at the beach. Everything was fantastic, every single employee from the General Manager( Phillip Johnson) to the chef (Kintan) to the room attendant (Ngurah) was an absolute pleasure to be around. Every single employee greeted us with a smile every single time they saw us. I will recommend AlamKulKul to every person I know. Thank you all for a fantastic honeymoon stay at your resort!!!!

Cons: We were checked into 3 rooms in the staff service area so were woken continually through out the night by either staff walking and talking, playing music or shuffling furniture. My daughters room had a hose for a shower! Breakfast was chaotic at best right outside my bedroom but even when I actually went to eat it was poor. Drink set ice by the pool was ridiculous. I asked for water on the second day and after 40 minutes decided to walk to the shop. We ordered lunch and it arrived into the bar area but the staff just ignored it was there so we went in to help ourselves before it was ruined or devoured by flies. My daughter was dumped by a bike taxi driver in the middle of no where and when a kind Bali gentleman offered to help and return her to the hotel in obvious distress the reception staff REFUSED to let her call me because I have an English phone. Luckily again a kind holiday maker saw how upset she was and lent her a phone. The staff need serious training and the hotel needs restructuring at least!

Pros: About midway between the main shopping parts of Kuta and Legian. Straight across from the beach where you get a beer and watch the sun set. Pool area was pretty good, not the best I’ve been to, but perfect for a family or older people traveling together. Not really a young happening place, but your group can make their own fun right? Pool well away from the sleeping areas, so nice and quiet in your rooms.
Cons: Breakfast was acceptable, just! Plenty to eat, but not a huge variety like some places.

Pros: Excellent location to walk to beach and restaurants. After change of room from third floor (I felt like I was put into a Russian apartment block) the room was acceptable. Mostly we liked the little porch on the ground floor rooms. The gardens were quite nice. Enjoyed breakfast. Staff very obliging and friendly.
Cons: Hotel in general is quite shabby and needs lots of maintenance. Pool area poor and water did not look clean (it was quite cloudy). Pool area is not inviting as there were not enough sun lounges for people wanting to use this area. Lobby needs to be more inviting, some plants, more lounge chairs and bright cushions may be what is needed.

Cons: Staff cleaning stole money. And the rooms were not very clean, had a cheap upgrade because of the water molt in the first room. But after the upgrade money magicly dissapeared and i had to pay for the upgrade as well.

Pros: Super relaxed while I was there, maybe only ~1/4 of the rooms occupied. Old style Kuta hotel, low rise, lush gardens. Awesome location yet also somehow manages to be really quiet! Super chilled staff - friendly, helpful, and not at all intrusive. Would definitely stay here again.

Cons: I was completely happy, and got what I was expecting. No hot water; fan rather than air con - though did the job; pool area and breakfast pretty basic, but again, did the job. A really good budget option in a great location.

Pros: The place is very nice and green. Little oasis in the middle of Kuta. The rooms quite old and very small. There was a nice pool and a small one for kids, which we really enjoyed. Breakfast was great!
Cons: We had a small misunderstanding with one of the staff at the check in and check out. However, the biggest issue for us was when we were in the swimming pool and in the hotel nearby they started spraying heavy chemicals against mosquitos which polluted the air in our entire complex, even rooms. We had to leave the pool immediately and stay in our room for about an hour with masks. Nobody warned the guests this was coming, and I believe there should be some communication between the owners on this.
