Most of the staff are very attentive with a lot of initiative. They are polite and always smiling. Very disciplined and well trained staff. Congratulations!!!
I booked for a twin bed room for myself and my wife and another room for my son with a queen/king bed. But i was given a queen bed when I was brought to the room. I asked to change the room but was informed that my booking was for a queen/king bed. I insisted on changing to a twin bed room. Half hour was wasted for all this mess up. I was given a twin bed room.
We like the view even though we got the city view but we can go to the 33 floor to see the harbour view. The room was very spacious, large enogh for 2 kids and 2 adults especially we took the triple room. The elder kid is 14 yo. There is also a free shuttle bus from Sannomiya. So we have an access to the sannomiya station. Walk distance to Mosaic and Harbour land. The most thing that I like that the reception man so helpfull, He helped me to cancel one room in booking.com. They said to me that I have 2 room for 2 night. Actually in my booking.com list just 1 room update. May I alredy cancel but due to system error the booking stil keep for 2 room which I just need 1 room triple room. The hotel staff contact booking.com and asked the booking.com to cancel for free. Till now I am curious, why in the hotel system there are 2 booking numbers and in my list just 1. But over all its OK. We can enjoy our 2 nights stay in this Landmark Hotel in Kobe. Thank you
I had a nice view ( which I paid extra for )and I guess due to the time the place was very quite. Shuttle service is a nice touch ( as was the English newspaper)and the bell staff who showed me to my room were quite friendly and helpful( provided me , due to the very small towel size with extra towels, quick and uncomplicated ). Met a Banquet service (?) Manager who was very attentive and helpful. Well working aircon & good hot water. Comfortable bed
Front staff / check in staff appeared quite arrogant and cold, no one asked for membership ( One Harmony) or if I like to consider to have a dinner ( no explanation on any facilities in the hotel whatsoever) or if I like breakfast. When I walked around later no one really took note or offered guidance.It felt like a ghost town. There were 5 staff members, i the only guest so plenty of time to fulfill this service. English skills very poor as well. I didn’t felt welcome at all after checking in. Check out was even colder,never had that in any hotel.Guess they don’t need customers to come back. Room ( they charged me a 1.000 ¥ more for the view I asked for ? Nice, especially with an empty hotel ) was disappointing small ( nice view though & quite, see above), looked worn down, stained table surfaces,applications far from modern standards ( amenities ok, bed comfortable), the towels felt old ( like washed way too often & the bath towels soo small !).No bathrobe, the shirt was so small I couldn’t wear in any function. TV no worth mentioning. Checked the restaurants but all very expensive, can’t say about the quality. Overall a huge disappointment as i expected much higher standards and the worst reception / check in experience in recent times.

It’s in the seafront and also near Chinatown, so the view from the room is fantastic and very convenient to grab a bite . Room facility is not up to date , but very clean and i feel hospitality.
