Staff is extremely accommodating! I left my suitcase here while I was in the jungle. They not only took it for free, but they also fixed the broken handle! They really go the extra mile for you.

I traveled from the US and stayed for over a week at Huayruru. The staff was amazing. The first room I was in, the AC didn't work so they moved me to a better, larger room with a fridge. The staff was great, very helpful and kind. I was able to negotiate a lower rate in person for additional time which was helpful. It is not so much a hostal, just a simple hotel with mature travelers. Breakfast is good and included. The wifi isn't great for downloads but fine enough for simple web surfing. In all of Iquitos wifi is very slow except Dawn on the Amazon Cafe and a few other places. I would highly recommend this hotel to travelers.

Nice spacious, clean room with very good air con and a ceiling fan. Good Wifi. Fridge in the room. Big shower with hot water (just let it run a bit). Jelly, bread rolls and eggs for breakfast. Scrambled eggs were delicious! Great location just a 5min walk to main square or riverbank.
A bit noisy from 7.30am with the kitchen (I was on the first floor) Ear plugs should do the trick.
