Beautiful building with lovely antiques. Very nice continental breakfast during the week. It was comfortable and quiet. Very nice Old Northside neighborhood to walk around.
The water in the shower in the Willow Room did not get hot. We told the front desk and hopefully they will have that repaired.
It is a clean charming Inn in a great location for a very affordable price.
Staff was amazing, B&B was beautiful and amazing...
only issue was older home so air conditioning had trouble keeping up with extreme outside heat.
Loved the inn as a whole. It was very classic and historical looking. I had to take photos and videos of it cause it was just beautiful. My room (portrait room) was conveniently on the first floor. The innkeeper Leonora was amazing. Giving the tour upon arrival and greeting me this morning when I went for breakfast. She explained where everything was. Gave me a tour and explained different things. I loved the butlers pantry with drinks and snacks provided. Also I want to shoutout the innkeeper Leonora once again. She reached out early in the day as I had requested a possible early check in, to let me know the room was ready and confirming everything was still a go. Not something you get normally so that I feel was above and beyond and truly appreciated!!!
The only thing I probably didn’t like was that the paint in the bathroom was peeling and there were a few cracks in the wall but that’s cosmetic that comes with buildings sometimes. There were also a couple flies when you went up the stairs but it’s unavoidable sometimes when ppl come in and out that flies come in. Wasn’t a huge deal as there weren’t any in my room or downstairs where food is served in the morning.
Our “hideaway” room was SO comfortable and I slept like a baby there. It was warm and also spacious. Good location-great hostess who clearly worked hard. I would stay here again!
I wished there were more healthy options at breakfast. Most options were too sugary. There were 3 fruits and hard boiled eggs as the healthy options. Otherwise everything had loads of sugar or refined flours.
